    I came across Badass whilst browsing Etsy .com (no affiliation to either or anyone) they have a range of "off the shelf" designs but also offer custom builds. They're very flexible and will happily add this feature from that cage, you can choose the length, diameter of tube and ring. You can pick any size I believe they're priced the same. They offer the same with other features (scrotum bar or separator, catheter or PA hook/bar) no extra charges. They offer various locking types, their "stealth" locks being of particular note, made of stainless steel instead of the usual soft brass. They also have "permanent" devices which require destruction to be removed. I found the quality of the work to be of a very high standard. The cage received looking better than the pictures on the site. The seller is communicative and very helpful. However the icing on the cake has to be that it was delivered (from manufacture in China to the UK) in around two weeks! As someone used to waiting for twelve weeks plus for my previous custom cages, I am seriously impressed. If you're harbouring any doubts over that Chinese manufacture, don't, these are a world away from the Chinese cages found on eBay ( of which I've a few) no, these cages I think are of equal or better quality than my other custom cages which are European in origin (and took three months to arrive) so if you're looking for a new cage, have a look at what the Badassworkroom has to offer, and hopefully you too will be impressed.

    Very interestinv collection. I think they have found a good niche...

    The screw locks... normal allen head or security screws?

    Looks like they have a large collection of other stainless steel gear at very reasonable prices.

    Regular Allen bolts although very small. You can ask and they are quite willing to install any locking type onto any of their designs. They will also modify their designs, for example I asked for a straight version of a cage which is usually curved and requested a stealth lock rather than their dual or permanent lock. I also ordered one with double the number of bars, no extra charges were made and the delivery was within 10 days, 14 on one but there were other items on that order. They're really helpful, I was very pleased with all their work.

    hmm.. the custom sized ones are pretty expensive. but not as expensive as mature metal. wonder what the support is for not quite right sized. sol or would he work with you.

    I am also a happy customer of Badass. Tomorrow I am three weeks in this cage 24/7. Better fit then ever.
    I had several off the shelf Chinese cages and also a Cherry Keeper. But this one is just at a whole other level. Communication is very good, my specs were made without extra costs.

    I also ended up ordering one of their custom cages and am very happy with it (review linked in my profile). I didn't have to send mine back but I was pretty confident in my measurements based on experience with off the shelf cages.

    I think that's the tradeoff, you're paying half the price of a MCN or MM but I don't know if there's a way to send them back for adjustments, at least not an economical way.

    You can always message him and ask - he is very responsive to questions.

    I've had 2 cages and 1 adjustment with the Badassworkroom - 1st was exactly what I requested, second was off in the ring and he sent a new one (exactly right) in 2 weeks. Fast responses and flexible to work with.

    I’m going to jump on the positive train with you all ! I ordered a custom cage from them in September while I was waiting for my custom cage from Red Chili, and it was very comfortable and well built. I actually changed my cage size a day before it was supposed to ship, and I still got it in two weeks. The main seller is very helpful and responded within a few hours even though the time zones are very different. I would recommend their cages to anyone. Hope this helps anyone out there looking for a nice cage that is reasonably priced.

    Bumping an old thread ..

    Reading with interest, was thinking about a BA 13.

    I like the option of screws and permanent, so you can wear it for some time and make sure correct not rubbing etc before it is sealed.

    Does anyone know how permanent the permanent clips are? can they be removed with tools if needed (temp removal for flights, hospital or whatever) and device can be refitted, or is this permanent as in CB has to be damaged/cut once clips are closed.
