What kind of lubricant do you use for chastity device? And how ofter you re-apply it per day?

Silicone by even and usually morning and evening sometime also when I get home from work

You don't say what type of cage. Also do you mean the cage or the ring? You shouldn't need any lube in the cage if it's metal. If it's a plastic or silicone type tube I would also avoid lube as it will get quite 'gunky' in there. Go for steel if you can.

I don't use lube other than a tiny bit of vaseline on the ring before bed sometimes. It helps a little with the 'burn'.

 

I'd try to avoid lube in the tube. A little vaseline under the ring may help.

 

Food grade coconut oil. Morning and before bed. Natural antibiotic, and anti fungal.

My experience with the Holy Trainer was constant chaffing, when I switched to steel I didn’t need to use any lube. However I am now in a behind Barz belt and I do have to use a bit of lube on the base ring. I use pjur “analize me”, best silicon lube I’ve found so far, stays slick pretty much all day after applying in the morning, then I apply some after work or right before bed.

 

I use a silicone based lubricant called "skyn" and Vaseline (which my Domme doesn't prefer because it leaves a greasy residue on things even after I have washed my hands). I work in real life in a labour intense construction job and use the Vaseline more because it lasts better.


Typically I wouldn't say I have a set amount of times per day, but it wouldn't be a stretch to say 4 or more, or even whenever things start feeling raw or chafed.

 

Silicon lube inside, lasts up to 2weeks with washing as best as I can without removing.

Externally sudacrem, which is sold as a nappy/diaper rash cream in the uk, nicer than Vaseline and as effective

 

I quit using any lub and have no more problems

 

I find if after about 8 to 10 hours at least the ring area the skin starts to stick and pull esp in the cooler weather. It’s also a metal cage. The cbxxxx needed lube more often

It's not going to be a pleasant, breathable environment in there. I would think there is a risk of bacterial and fungal growth.

 

Go in dry or put it on in the shower. With waist belts though sometimes its easier doing it dry instead and lay down on a bed to push the waistband up to make it easier to lock on (some designs are frankly shit)

 

A properly fitted device, your penis should already be at the end of tube. You don't want room to grow.

I love my Holy Trainer, I can not stress enough how superior the real thing is to the knock offs. I’m new to this and have gone a couple 10 day stretches locked ( work related time away from home schedule). I try to avoid using any to toughen up the skin but I occasionally need to apply a little. I use aquaphor as it has healing additives.

Good stuff, the only truly organic balm, will stain underwear, but you can use it as much as you want. Seemed to have a slight warming effect which was welcome. Hard to wash off. At least three times a day.

Now I am using 2Toms Sport Shield regular. Seems to work, I need to reapply multiple times a day. Much cleaner, but also less substantial.
Next, I want to try 2Toms Sport Shield Xtra - it has additional Shea butter and other ingredients.

 

CeraVe healing balm. every other or 3rd day. Just under the bottom of the base ring.

 

I also prefer a decent moisturiser over a lube. Keeps the skin soft and smooth, but no residue.

 

I am using antichafing balm from Manscaped - Crop Preserver.
Better than any lube, for me.
