I hate to see and read everyone that got their order cancelled. Hopefully she will find a new builder soon and we can get our cages.

So this might be a good time to sell some of my old Lori’s tubes? I have 4 or 5 but let my PA heal during a break. :(

Talk about integrity at a level not often heard of! And she is sending a refund on top of everything, that is exceptional as business practices go. This lady has my respect!

I could never afford one of her devices...although they did make me drool!

I tip my hat to you Lori!

I had a similar experience. I spent way too much money on a Lori device that was too heavy for long term wear.

I received an email from Mike. He got screwed over pretty good, and is having a tough time getting situated with new tools and equipment to keep building. I sent him this link and encouraged him to come here and explain what happened.

I think she would end up with lawsuits over not giving a refund at this point. But sure, call it an exceptional business practice...

I hope that he does get up and running on his own. I found Lori to be terrible to deal with. I’ve heard his current work is much better than the past.

I don't know what it is with chastity makers but that is a common complaint. Mature Metal is one of the few who I only hear good about. Too many start ok, have problems, then get better then cycle back and forth between acceptable and bad, often going out of business. Locked In Steel and La Ceinture De Chastete come to mind as two off the top of my head.

i think most start out as a hobby then take on too much and can’t complete in any sensible time frame ,then try to cut corners and ultimately it’s like a roller coaster of a business.
Most seem also useless on communicating with customers also.

All I can say with my own belt is my lady had booked us to be away for the 5 week period and it was completed in that time fully with 5 fittings plus the sixth time to fit and collect.
However where mine is from is a very personal lady in Korea that has avoided any kind of mass production or online non personal ways. She solely does in person only.

Well we need to understand that considering the type of items she sells, I would be highly suspect that these cases would make it into court.

She would certainly have the upper hand and could drag things out forever. THis would be a civil matter and you are looking at small claims court.

The short is she is doing the very right thing and I VERY much respect her for her actions.

I have to just laugh as I think of "What if that was me who paid for an item and IF she was not refunding!?"

Hey Zak, you in court this week I hear?
    Yahhhh
    What for?
Item I purchased online, company went belly up...no refund!
    DAMN! What you buy?
    Umm...A cage...
YAH well they should be locked up for that type of crime!
~under my breath~ "well...I was supposed to be..."
    Whatsat?
YES Criminal! My poor dog without a cage!

I guess we are all in different situations. For the money she charges, I wouldn’t care about exposure as much as a refund. I have personally found the business less than desirable to deal with. When a device is nowhere near the expected size on average. These cases would never end up in court, they would cost her much more to defend. But I guess if you keep it as chastity fantasy, it makes sense.

I don’t believe the law accounts for the nature of an item. Law is law. Though I do see humor in your perspective.

Received my refund, minus a hefty PayPal fee. Meh. I am so disappointed in the whole experience. Ordered way back in April. Figured it would have been being built sometime around now. What a full on boondoggle.

Cage diameter, length, and diameter of the retaining ring. I already had a ring cut down myself and welded by a machine shop. Still getting seriously pinched, I think between the ring and cage. I’ll probably go back to a rubber o-ring for the ring, but it still puts too much strain on me when it tries to shrink a bit. I shouldn’t have let her talk me out of my measurements. She didn’t believe the size of my base ring and wasn’t satisfied until I agreed to make it 1/4” smaller. As soon as I got it, I had to send it back for resizing because it was 1/4” too small. Cage also needs to be what I measured, and not what I was convinced to get. That should’ve have been my signal to save my $700 for an actual paperweight so I’d at least be able to use it for something.

Maybe hit him up on Instagram? Not sure if he’s still on here. Maybe he’ll do it for a small donation?

Ive finally got back on here and read all the posts. Im not sure why some people are talking about how Lori didnt refund? Did anyone NOT get a refund? Everyone that I spoke to that was in line got a refund.

Ive tried to reach out to Mike and no luck. I know someone else that has. Im hoping he will start building soon.

Ive looked at other cages and without PA i feel loris retainer rings are my best options. I dont want to go custom with anyone else because I feel I will just be able to pull out? Honestly, the retainer ring is what I really truly want.
I waited just under a year and didnt get the cage. Im pretty upset because I really wanted this. IM hoping in the future someone can take over, or Mike can start making devices again.

I've had a little email exchange with Ms Lori and I can confirm that for the foreseeable future she will not be taking orders as she is not currently in a position to honour the ones she has.
If she can overcome her present challenges she may start back up.
But as recruitment of skilled operatives is difficult at the best of times it is more likely that her close down may become permanent.

We're disappointed as we have at last got the funds with which to place an order.
Finding an alternative to a Lori has thus far proved impossible
even more so to find a UK based artisan.

That's just another kick in the balls... I didn't pay via PayPal. But I was refunded that way. Minus a $25.00 fee. So in the end, I got to pay $25.00 to wait patiently for nothing. Like I said, meh.

Mike Lancer is still willing to continue production, but was robbed of his investment in the business when they parted ways. He said he currently doesn't have the tools and equipment to restart. I suggested he start taking pre-orders, and with hopefully enough interest, it would give him enough Startup capital to get outfitted with the tools he needs to begin production again.
