A WEEK since I've written?!?! :sign0094:

This past week has been so extremely busy. My dad has started his treatments, and he's had some set backs. That has been taking a lot of my time. John and I had a date day/night on Saturday that was just WONDERFUL!! My IL's took our daughter from 1pm on Sat to 1pm on Sunday. We had a really nice lunch, went to see "She's Out of My Leauge" (I laughed SOOOO hard!!!), went to Chipotle for dinner, had some Baker's Square for dessert, and watched Erin Brokovich until about 2am. We were so exhausted we just crashed. Sunday morning we got to sleep in until 11. It was so great!!!

I guess the only real play time we've had over the past week was Wednesday evening. I went out with some friends and when I had gotten home, I realized that John had left a message on Daniels profile asking him to download some of his favorite porn. :mad0025: That kind of irritated me. I didn't like the fact that he was sitting home searching while I was out. There were some other small things that kind of irked me that happened over the past week. Combine that with all of the stress and I was ready to tear John up a bit. Know what? I really love angry sex. I had him tied to the bed and rode him quite aggressively. His poor nipples were so sore the next day!! He was bitching about it, but if it was so bad, then why didn't he call uncle?? I just had to keep reminding him over and over that he NEVER used his safe word....and his dick was ROCK hard, so it couldn't have been that horrible.

On a lighter note, John and I are finishing our downstairs into a spare bedroom/guestroom. We had this as our daughters play room, but now that Daniel is coming to stay with us for a few weeks we need to convert it. We've been meaning to do this for quite awhile, so this is a great reason to give us the kick in the butt and get it done. John also wants to make it a "man room". The PC will be down there (I think Daniel would go into serious withdrawal without a computer) and some nice comfy chairs. I think a squishy leather chaise would be great. Big flat screen TV and the DVD built into the wall. He's got a vision...and when he gets it into his mind to build something, it's the only thing he can focus on. It's actually good for him. Since he got rid of his tank, he hasn't had anything to keep his mind occupied. I'm sure it will look great.

So, that's about it. The weather is starting to get warmer (60 on Thursday :happy0030: ), and it couldn't come at a better time.

 

Please, no one move or speak!!! Nothing wrong/bad/upsetting/or crazy has happened to me in the past 8 hours. I'm afraid if I say it out loud the floor will drop underneath me.

My gawd...my life for the past week has been nothing but drama, drama, drama. Not only with my dad (who's home and doing better after having angioplasty), but with another member of my family. I keep waiting to hear:sign0004: in the background. I love my family very much and we're very close. Maybe a bit too close. When something happens to one of us it becomes our problem as well. We stand behind each other and fight till the death for what is right. KWIM?

As far as the chastity/kink department, it's been WWAAAYYY slow. There is so much going on it's really hard to feel very Goddess/Mistress like. I can't even muster up the energy to put myself in that place. I just have to wait, I guess.

So, yesterday Linda and I met up and had a wonderful day together. We had lunch, and then treated ourselves to a mani/pedi. We stopped in every store that had something "blingy". We'd be talking and then walk by a window, start staring, then loose our train of thought. The best thing about being with Linda is it's so effortless. We like a lot of the same things and have similar taste in shoes. Oooo..shoes. Had a blast trying on shoes!! I got the cutest pair of zebra print heels! They are fabulous!

Unfortunately, it was getting late and we had to say goodbye. :sad0064: Lin, I could have stood in the parking lot and talked all night! We will definitely have to get all 4 of us together next time, for some fun Can't wait to have Tiff and John in those pedicure chairs!! :happy0011:

Things have been going just swimmingly over here. It's 82 degrees here today and the sun feels just fabulous! The nicest thing, I talked to Mike/Xcite today and got caught up. I've really missed that guy. John and I have been having some fun together. Some good playful time that we've been putting on the back burner with everything else that's been going on. Not really D/S play so much as just really connecting with each other again. Good talks and really sweet sex. I've come to a conclusion about my husband.... ready?

He is not the submissive that I really need. Or want for that matter. He's my husband, and I don't want to redefine that. I like that we're equals in our marriage. We can play in the bedroom and have our fun, but out of it, it's just us. I think I've come to terms with this and realized that I can't change that. And it's OK. Hi all.

It's been a few days since I've written, but that's because I really haven't had anything worthy to write about. Yeah...whoa is me. I need to deal with some issues regarding *ahem* someone, and then hopefully get back on track. At least it's shaping up to be a really great weekend.

Today I spoke to Linda for about an hour and I really want to thank her. I SOOO needed the laugh!! We were in stitches giggling and poking fun at the men in our life. I still think we should start a thread that we talked about. It was something along the lines of ""Who's hub/sub is the biggest whiner/candy ass/baby." Now, before you all start screaming about how mean we are...we were talking about our husbands. We were going back and forth with stories and at one point I told her she had to stop because I was going to wet my knickers from laughing so hard. I was speaking of John's ridiculous fear of the sun (as in he gets a faint hint of pink on his skin and he's got a horrible sunburn that hurts and he's got the chills), and Lin was talking about Tiff wanting the bed warm before he gets in. Tonight, I'm going out with some friends. My mom is taking the chicklet overnight tomorrow so we can go to dinner and see Clash of the Titans.
