Has anyone ordered lately

I had some discussion about fixing some issues with mine, and she said it would take a while as well. When I did order.mine last year, it was 90-120 days that turned into about 180 days. Its a nice device, but a long long lead time.

 

I ordered in April also. Same story. First estimate was 120 days. I guess they got a huge rush when the pandemic started and when people started talking about how well the 2a works. Then the six week supplies delay during COVID. At this point I’m sort of hopeful to maybe have it by Christmas.

I ordered in May and was told then it would be mid September.
They where v busy then. Then they have had supply issues with raw material and welding gas(covid issue) , which has put them back about two months.
I asked Ms Lori where I was in the que a week ago and I am 27th she has said Mike makes on average 2 per week some times a bit more, so I am expecting mine in December if there are no more covid delays. If you ordered in April you are probably a month ahead so reality is Probabley some time around early November.

I would like it quicker but from everything I have heard Mike makes truly fantastic devices so I hope it is worth the wait.

I have found Ms Lori is one of the few makers who is happy to communicate, she normaly reply within 24 hours to my e mails. If you are concerned drop her an E mail.

 

Ordered in Jan. and still not here but close. Same reasons. I think Ms. Lori was hoping to bring in extra help that didnt work out (craftsmanship!). She does respond and has been fair but clearly underestimated the situation. Frustrating of course, but it is what it is (again, craftsmanship).

 

My KH and I are trying to order a Lori device but her email address (lorilancer2@gmail.com) does not seem to be valid anymore. Has anyone encountered this, or does anyone have a valid email address for Ms. Lori?

I ordered one around November and it took a little over 4 and 1/2 months. It’s hard for small business to handle surge demand so just be patient. They are honest and communicate well and the quality is outstanding.

 

Ms. Lori emailed me Friday from that address.

I find the lead time that people are talking about somewhat disconcerting It seems we will have to find the finance for our order a bit faster if my Lady is to take delivery before I visit the states next year which is when we hoped I could exchange it for the one I would have traveled in.

 

FYI- it’s possible to get a PA and a retaining ring. The ring helps take pressure of the PA and ads yet another layer of security. Also, they can add the retaining ring to almost any design.

 

I ordered my 5A back in March, still no word on when I will get mine.

 

The one and only time I purchased from Ms. Lori I recall it taking a very long time (3-4 months?) to receive the device.
The whole experience was disappointing as it was way too heavy for long term use.

 

I did after posting that. She informed me where in the queue I was and that they are getting about 2 a week out. So I still have a little while longer to wait.

 

I think she said I had 20 ahead of me still at that time. I am hoping for a possible New Years present, wouldn’t that be awesome!

 

When I ordered from her last year, she was averaging 2-3 a week.

I would say 8-10 week minimum would be about right if 20 down the list.

 

I just wanted to echo other's experiences. I was afraid that I was being mislead for a bit but I am feeling much more hopeful after seeing other's experiences being mimicked. I ordered at the end of April and was just informed I am 27th in the queue and that Mike is still managing 2 a week or so. Mid February for me too. I was offered a refund but I am not willing to take myself out of the queue at this point. Patience is a virtue they say.

 

My 2D, ordered in January came later in October. Ms. Lori was professional as always and had offered a refund as the wait stretched out. Glad I waited though. Going thru tryouts and tweeks and will post a review later...
