Thanks for the link. I’ve read about “altarboy” and his site several times, but I’m new enough to this that I never saw the site itself. But it is/was legendary.

But I just noticed something. It’s always been describe as “altarboy “ here and on Fetlife. But his site and his contact info are “Altairboy”. He clearly named himself after a star, not a church furnishing which does kind of change the interpretation.

Just a minor observation, since we all tend to online identities that mean something to us. We may have been misinterpreting his for years.

 

The Altarboy site on tpe or was it altairboy... no matter took a serious dive in popularity when its owners bottled out completely and took down thousands of images which I saw for myself and additionally a number of posts too I'm told. To be honest I lost all respect for them which was perhaps being a little too judgemental

it was the first site my then wife and I encountered TTTWD on.
There was a distinct lack of other sites at the time that focused on male chastity.

The site was split in two basically ... one side was accounts and fantasy stuff the other was about products and people's DIY attempts

 

I wrote a lot on Altairboy. The site did not tank because of personal problems, he was terrified of going to jail because of (then) new US laws concerning internet nudity. 2257 shut him down. Fetters, Tollyboy, Centurians were ready to jump in.

Yes great site.. have been reading from it since the very late 90s..
I too recal the product review photos vanishing, it was ideed because of 2257, he had no records on file that any of the "adult" photos we of age, I guess instead of sifting through the many many images and splitting what was risky from plain product review shots was more trouble that it was worth.

I even did some Editing for him for a while.. made some of the stories a little more readable by correcting typos and "foreign english"

but it was alwasy located on TPE, but even that went down for a while a couple of years ago.

I do recal someone on there writing a "true Story" that essentially his top used the publication frequency of material on Altairboy to determine release dates... I hope theyve come up with a new system!! ;-)

Why didn't he move his website to a server outside the US?

 

Definitely owe him a big "thank you" for exposing me to the world of chastity/devices and sparking my interest until now. I seem to recall that if someone in the US ran a site outside of the US, they could still be liable for US laws. Thinking that may have been a factor or even a "f-it" when things got too complicated....

Speaking of Altarboy, does anyone recall the story in "Fiction" section there where husband cheated on his wife, she spotted the withdrawals on their joint bank account, confronted him, put him in chastity and ultimately gave him a sex-change operation? What was it called?

 

That sounds like such a common story thread, could be dozens. But agree, site had so many good stories. Just idea of chastity play was special back then.

Its easy to forget, now in better times (hah!) with how much vitriol and conviction some political figures painted adult content, how much they (claimed to be) driven by God and superior morality to protect women and children. Ashcroft would pursue this goal with his Federal Obscenity Task Force from the time he was placed in office until a few months AFTER 9/11/2001, when he was forced to refocus on terrorism. But even after that date, court cases like United States v. Extreme Associates, Inc. (2003) were asking for prison sentences of 50 years, exceeding the sentences asked for people being tried for selling guided missiles.

Those days are gone now, but will be back in fashion before too long.

 

Yeah, a lot of my earliest Chastity and forced fem scenario porn came from there. I still recall "Belling the Cat" as an early favourite forced fem/chastity read. I also recall the cover photo of the dude with the keys, just dying to get into the woman's full belt. Fun times.

I think it died out, personally, in that I lost interest and the quality of the content dropped off. I eventually just switched to Literotica for a larger base of more specific stories, and an easier platform to navigate.
