    I was amazed to see "No nut November" trending on twitter tonight, It was the 2nd highest after the lockdown news.

    I have never heard it mentioned before outside of the chastity scene.

    I remember hearing about it the last year or two as other "challenge months" have become popular recently. There are quite a few now that either involve abstaining from something (alcohol, meat, and yes, orgasms) or practicing a skill or habit for the month (Inktober, NaNoWriMo, meditation, exercise, etc).

    As far as I could tell it isn't connected to the kink or chastity scene, but who knows who is pulling the strings behind the scenes on these things :D

    Considering how successful Locktober was for many on this site, the increased prominence of another month of abstinence is a bit scary. If each successive month of denial has more participants, could make for a long, frustrating 2021.

    Just a quick followup on this - No Nut November got mentioned in this sketch on Saturday Night Live Last this week:

    Basics of the sketch - a guy is trying to cancel his cable, he keeps getting forwarded from person to person and no one is helpful, ultimately instead of canceling his cable they try to install a land line. While he's on hold there are all kinds of promotions mentioned. One is "Doing No Nut November? We've got you covered with a channel of all movies without nudity" and the guy is confused what NNN is. It then quickly transitions to the next unhelpful person who answers the pone

    I have seen it mentioned several times the last few years. Also I have heard many friends casually mention it.

    Likewise, I have seen manyyyy posts and articles on "nofap". Even large celebrities mention it and do videos about it on YouTube. They basically mention the laziness onset that comes on with men after self pleasuring and the side effects. It's pretty interesting.

    No nut November has actually been around for a long time. To my knowledge, it was created to promote awareness of prostate cancer. I never heard it being used in reference to chastity until last year but then I am new to chastity.
