You could try wearing sexy latex or lingerie underneath more innocent looking clothing. You don't need to make it obvious or let anyone see it. All that matters is that you know it's there.

That's always my first choice - a nice lacy thong and a sexy bra under regular clothes. Or fishnet stockings and high heels with a regular skirt/dress. Makes me feel a bit naughty: I know something my colleagues on MS Teams don't know...

 

it always seemed to me that Domme's should dress how they want, not so much how their subbies prefer. Certainly comfort is as important as style, no reason for them to be uncomfortable just for an image. My visions of dominant women have more to do with attitude than image. I'm sure I'd be on my knees as easily for a Domme dressed in jeans and a top as all leather. But if that's what She wants then more power to her. Her choices are all that matter.

 

@MissyB, I fully agree. It's up to the woman to decide what she wants to wear. The sub's opinion may be listened to but not much beyond that. I choose my clothes myself; I might ask my husband what he thinks of a particular outfit but my comfort and enjoyment are what guides me.

 

Nice boots and outfits and I realize that a lot of people like them but for me they never really do anything I think it has something to do with them breaking up the nice smooth flowing lines of the legs

 

Seems like this is what is important. Dommes listen to input and ideas then decide where things will go. However, we subs do appreciate when our likes are taken into account and will return our gratitude multiple times over.

I definitely agree with this. When finding my feet I encountered a couple of dommes who just seemed to use their role as an excuse to give little care or attention as to how they looked or behaved. They were essentially slobs which was a huge turn off.
No-one should expect full-on fetish gear but equally, being presented with someone unwashed, wearing a pair of smelly, ripped jogging bottoms covered in days-old food wasn’t in my expectations either - I don’t care how comfortable they were - I am not prepared to enter a relationship with someone who lacks basic hygiene!
As for the original question of vanilla domme clothing, I am in my element at this time of year as it typically sees the start of my favourite look - skirts and boots where the length of either is such that the top of the boots are unseen. The boots don’t need to be shiny or high heeled - it’s just the inability to see leg or stockings or... A pair of leather gloves doesn’t go amiss either!

 

I find legwear sexy. Stockings or tights but not bare legs. Colours that appeal that are not worn that often these days but would send out a signal are something like American Tan or White in 30 denier. You would definitely be making a statement in my book!

 

I agree with almost all the above.
I love everything about Ladies clothing when they re all clean and crisp ofcourse.
But I have always liked heels...so totally unattainable for men. Such a power statement for the girls.
Long skirts also.

 

@Mistress Jules I'm sure this thread has digressed to something else now but I wanted to add you are not alone on losing that feeling.

As a sub who at least once a week got to serve and be enjoyed, having this craziness go on for a year means I question everyday whether that is really me since it never happens any more. Stay strong, Domination will return.

WRT to the clothing I guess it depends on what made you feel domineering, from a sub point of view I always thought Domme clothing was great at suggesting the sexuality with out openly flaunting it. Tight and shapely, low cut but not gratuitous.

Low heel boots are good, shiny nicer leggings that show of the curves is great. For me I think anything that shows curves but has that I mean business posture will ooze dominance.

As I said firstly though, hang tough, I hope we all get through it

 

It doesn't happen very often, maybe once a year, but lots of make-up and styling. My wife doesn't wear a lot of make-up unless its for a business social event or a wedding. I guess you can say since last March not much at all.

However, there may be once or twice a year when we are going to have a hot session (maybe another couple) she is heavy with eyeliner, eye shadow, foundation, and waterproof stripper red lipstick. Next is thigh high stockings with either 6" heels or knee high spiked boots, a slit skirt, white blouse, and black lace bra and panties. The shoes or boots are purposeful, she loves to use the heel to mark my back when I'm between her legs and also to be taller than me she she has me stooped.

It does get somewhat erotic during a flogging, she had to remove her blouse for comfort and the ability to move. Then when its time for my pegging, the skirt comes off. The ultimate is when she removes the bra and as she is taking me when I;m flat on my stomach I can feel her nipples on my back.

So for me its really the hair and makeup with the boots, she could be wearing a flannel shirt and I think she is hot.

except the shoes....but the uniform helps....

 

I also feel super dominating and power with a good manicure in either black or some deep powerful color. I also found wearing my nylons under my jeans makes me feel sexy and powerful in my vanilla world.
