The ones available in MS Word and Paint are not up to the job
So would someone please tell me where I can get these two fonts

As someone with experience using typeface identifying websites, they pretty much always suck and the ones that don't take forever to use and require some of the unusual letters to really work. I ran both of those and found some that were close but I doubt you want to buy them and I couldn't find them on the usual free websites.

Two typefaces I'd suggest as alternatives are:
    Laffayette Comic Pro
    Mighty Zeo 2.0

I personally LOVED using Mighty Zeo for dialogue because it looks good in both lower case and as an all caps but it might not be thick enough to really work when typeset onto a background. Actually, Laffayette Comic Pro might not be that much better in that regard.

If neither of those works for you, I can go further through my stupidly large collection of typefaces that I haven't touched in years.

For putting text on backgrounds, I'm of the opinion that you have to use both a stroke then a drop shadow or it looks like ass but I doubt you can do the latter without Photoshop, GIMP, or the like.

Thanks for your reply and your efforts

We haveseen and downloaded Laffayette Comic Pro but What we are really looking for is what we believe we have learned they call an outline font

By an "outline font" do you mean something like how your "he gets nothing" looks in your original example?

If so, yes, they do exist, but they're generally shit, especially for what you're want them for. The reason is no one is going to design a font that replicates something that any real image editing software can do with 4 clicks or one click and a hotkey press if you write a simple action to automate it. The problem is paint isn't a real piece of image editing software and learning to use something like Photoshop or GIMP (free) just to make captions is kind of a hard ask, especially since neither is what I'd call beginner friendly.

Interesting nad you clearly know what you are talking about..

I unfortunately am no wiser other than you have affirmed that it is hard to find either of the fonts I'm looking for...or similar.

Most image editing software have "meme" functions built in. They use the fonts available on your device (phone, tablet, pc, etc), and then offer an outline option. That's probably your easiest option.

I mainly do these on my phone (Android). Phonto has been my favorite, but I have an app called Add Text, and have used Imgur, and a few others.

Thanks Tom I'll see if I can try those.
I have downloaded fonts before and they have been available in Word Excel and Paint.. whether they are available to use in any other software I doubt I'll ever know.

I don't know about phones, but if you want to install a font on a Windows 10 computer, open settings, click personalization, fonts, then drag and drop.

Phone apps might be the easiest way to accomplish what you want without having to learn GIMP. I only ever do that editing on a computer, so I have zero suggestions there if Tom Allen's don't do it for you.

Feeling like a bit of Luddite well I'm not quite ready to riot in the street and smash up the machines, so more a bit of dinosaur too much technology around of which I have too little understanding.

One day people make these things accessible to the uninitiated. until then I'll probably just have to wait

@filltee, if you have a modern cell phone, there are literally dozens of apps available for meme creation and image editing.
Try Phonto, Add Text, or Imgur. They are available for both Android and Apple.
