Hi! I've been playing around with chastity for about four years now. I've bought several cages and found one that fits well enough to be worn 24/7 and I modified it to be harder to escape. I started chastity as a way to cope with my sexless marriage. Based on the scraps of information I've found so far the theory seems to be that enough time with absolutely zero free erections will compress the spongelike structure of the penis in a similar way to how those mail delivery mattresses are compressed, except on a longer timescale. Where those mattresses take weeks of compression to hold it and hours to days to decompress, the penis takes months to years to hold the compression and days to weeks of free erections to decompress. The only risk bring that if you go so long that your body completely ceases to even attempt erections and can't be coaxed back into them, then your penis might not ever decompress.

Regarding permanent shrinkage, I can’t say, although from what I’ve seen the general consensus seems to be that any shrinkage from being locked up is temporary. I think I’ve shrunk more from age and weight gain than I have from being caged.
hello and hope you find what you need. My wife as well can't have PIV due to child birth without pain but likes oral. On the shrinkage age and weight are the biggest cause. But does it overly matter if you are not coming out due to your wife's issue. You never know if you talk to her about it maybe she will get into it make your penis stop working and then all you can do is orally service her anyway.
