Ok, so before lockdown I was due to visit BB, once lockdown was announced BB rightly postponed and in fairness wrote to me once things were opening up again, unfortunately I have been just too busy to make an appointment since, to visit them is pretty much a full day for me and right here right now after huge losses in lockdown taking a day out is difficult though I am hopeful in the coming weeks provided of course they are not too busy..... I have been very lucky to of seen the belts first hand as a previous member here who played a large part in the design of the belt and guinea pigged for them gave me a visit and was extremely helpful to say the least, a great shame to see him gone from here.... Anyway I digress, I am quietly confident that the belt will work for me, I wore a Fetish Felix for a year only coming out to clean so the BBCB is in effect a much better quality version of that with many tweaks....what really intrigues me is I have seen a few posts about wearing just the belt and the cock cage, no back ring just those two components.... Is there anybody here that has done this for any amount of time and if so a little review please would be much appreciated... Many thanks Tony

I am sorry but in this combination (only belt and cage/tube) I cannot help. What I did/do sometimes is wearing the belt without cockring but cage and outer cage (I have the open one) All that I can say is, that this combo (without cockring) is more comfortable at the first moment, but somehow it leads to more „pinchy“ situations. I think that is due to the more freely hanging balls - but then again every body is different; for some this might be the perfect way, for others absolutely not. all what I could offer right now is doing some kind of testday for you in the combination you ask for, but please be patient and give me some days to find out if and how that works. what do you need to know ??? Car driving ?, Sitting, Sleeping, etc situations ???
I'm just past 24 hours into wearing my new Behind Barz. I've no rear rod and have removed the ring like you describe. I'm intending to post a full review soon (spoiler: it's awesome) but my initial impressions are that it's more comfortable without. I'm secured with a PA, so no chance of pullout. Pullout might be possible if you don't wear the ring, but good luck getting back in. I suspect the rear rod would also make pullout impossible but I didn't want one. My experience is different to the poster above. Foregoing the ring leads to less pinchiness and pain. I've had skinny jeans that were less comfortable than this combo. My advice would be to visit the guys at BB if you can. They're super helpful, you can get a feel for what works and potentially save yourself having to return anything by post for mods.
Ah, I misread. I thought you said removed the ring. So you're talking about no outer cage or back ring, just a belt and tube? The outer cage prevents access.to the tube, which is an open design, while the back ring prevents pullout. I think the combo would offer fantastic comfort and aesthetics but low security.
I have a BBCB, I have never worn it without the back ring but I understand what you’re saying. If I didn’t have the ring on I know I could get my cock out but I don’t think I could shift my belt enough one way or the other to have it out comfortably. So it would probably still work as intended but not be nearly as secure. Personally I’d still rather have the back ring for that extra security.

I am not sure how secure that would be, I have the ring, went on the large size for comfortability and due to the design it does not matter that it is large. That is my cage size as well and all together it is wonderful. Every once in awhile I will get a pinch from the rear bar but for the most part it is awesome
Tried it for a day, not ideal. I can’t use my ring as it gets painful (might need a bigger diameter). Pullout isn’t such an issue but I found having my pecker pointed straight down without the outer cage around it to be pretty awkward and lots of ball smashing/pinching ensued. I like all the combinations this belt allows though and I’m still experimenting after having it for a couple months. You’ll enjoy the process of figuring out your favorite combinations!
Also tried it. Only belt and tube. For me not wearable. Same as above, pinching, etc.... For me the comfort comes with the outer cage. Even though I have the open version it is like a protecting cover. Besides that it looks better concerning to my wife.
Well we bought one anyway so time will tell, I am thinking I like the idea of the simplicity of the belt and cage only but I'm quietly confident that I'll be able to wear the ring as well if needs be, I wore the Fetish-Felix for a full year with back ring, I ordered the 60mm oval, so will let you know how it goes in time.... Just take your time to get used to it and to adjust it well to your body. Once the bending is done right, and you are also „broken in“ you will not sell it ! It may be more difficult to wear a belt compared to a BallTrapDevice, but it is a belt A complete different feeling, so absolute, so hmmm... difficult to describe.
