Thank you so much for this informed and informative answer. It is a diamond in a pile of speculation.

So did you get a chuckle and get on with your work?

I know most medical folks are professional. But I also know most will get a good laugh. In a BDSM group I used to belong to we had several nurses who were in it.

And have you run across more chastity devices since? I’d think so as the popularity is growing.

This is something I would like to know too, if the cage was destroyed in the proces.

I have slide-in lock mechanism, if this would be the only part that gets destroyed, I would be ok with it.

If however my custom titanium cage get destroyed, I'd be a little more annoyed but still ok if it saved my life ... and much more appreciative if the former destruction from the small lock that is inserted.

On a similar vein, what do you all do for GP wellness checks? I went to mine last year and forgot to ask for my fiancee to unlock me first, so when the doc asked to inspect my genitals, I simply refused. I know it's good to get checked out, but I wasn't ready for the thought of subjecting the doc to it.

So for those of you continuously locked, how do you go about with general checkups? Do you unlock for the physical or just explain your situation to the doc and suck it up? Got my next physical coming soon...

I don't have the cage removed for just a visit but when I know that there will be a physical exam or any type of "turn your head and cough moment" she'll remove the cage. Happy to share with the doctor if the topic is relevant but no need to share sexual interests in the course of standard discussion.
