Nipple piercings, yes or no

I've never been a fan - basically nipple is wonderful on its own and there are so many ways to play, tease, and taste them, that a piercing would just get in the way. Course, i'm old school, so that probably explains my opinion.

 

I want them, I think they are cool! Unfortunately, me state currently isn't allowing piercing.

From my reading: they won't make you more sensitive, but they still enhance the sensation itself. So if you are already sensitive, it'll likely be really nice. If you are not sensitive, don't expect that much change. Aside from that, it takes a long time to heal. Anywhere from 6 months to a year. If you're prepared to go up to a year with no nipple play, I say go for it!

 

They are just delicious. They made my nipples much more sensitive and I am very happy I did it - 30 years ago. Yes, they're still incredibly erotic and the only regret I have is that I didn't have them pierced sooner.

 

I wasn’t a fan of them until my ex got them. Omg I fell in love. I want my done, but I’m waiting awhile until the time is right. I have some personal reasons why I can’t do them now.

 

i too want mine pierced, i like the look of straight bars as opposed to rings. i love nipple play quite a bit, probably too much and wondered about using clamps on them when pierced would it be safe?

 

My wife likes options so i have one pierced-i love it for it's symbolism and increased sensitivity

Highly recommend it! I used to have mine done, but they grew out, for it it really, really heightened sensitivity to them!

 

if you let them heal. And if they’re done right. So talk to the piercer before you have them done.
Don’t be shy. Remember these are people that stick needles in peoples private areas, they won’t be shocked or judge mental.

 

@rxbuk, qualified yes to clamps and flogging, definite yes to licking and biting after the piercings are healed.

The qualified yes to clamps is that you want to go *around* the immediate piercing, and avoid clamping with the jewelry in the middle. Standard clothespins work fine because of the gap in the pinching part, see pics.



The qualified yes to flogging is the dominant mustn't let the falls of e.g. a seduction flail wrap around the jewelry and then pull away, that's a recipe for a good solid yank on the jewelry.

 

Had mine done loved them. I don't heal well with piercings. I've had many. I also missed rough play with my nipples. They are cool and sexy, and should be tried at least once

@DaedalusBelt - are you healing up and finding the pain decreasing by now? It shouldn't still be smarting except when you put on clothing awkwardly, or catch the seat belt of your car pulling at it.

Yep they're not noticable at all unless I'm thinking about them or I catch them. I understand they will be healing for 6 months to a year, but when do you think I can put on a shirt without worrying?

 

Six weeks if you follow your after-care to the letter. Yes, you shouldn't up-gauge for at least six months, but after the first 12 weeks you can consider some sex play with them.

 

I got mine nearly 20 years ago, for aesthetics. But in the last couple of years my vanilla wife has started to explore some pain okay with me, particularly nipple torture, both pinching, and twisting or pulling the bars. She can definitely get a bigger rise out of me using the bars as a torture device than without.

She overdid it a couple of months ago (not her fault, I didn’t use my safe word, and both got torn up inside (this after a full year of further healing from gauging up from 14 to 8 ga). Now I’m finding they *do* take a long time to heal and fistulas to re-form — particularly the right is still very tender and oozing after about 6-8 weeks (but I haven’t been great about aftercare, either).

I didn’t notice that piercing made them any more sensitive (just gave he mr an anchor pout for pulling and twisting tortures). But gauging up, and wearing heavy shields continuously for months along with the bars has caused the nipples to quite noticeably enlarge.

 

Both Lady C and me agree on this one. Neither of us wants piercings anywhere. That said I sometimes find them nice to look at, but too many piercings for me are a turn off.

PK and I each have one nipple pierced and have had them for over 15 years. The increased sensitivity is amazing. Why only one you may ask....I like the unique appearance.

Worst case if you don't like it later on you can take it out. In most cases, it is the one of few the body piercings that will close back up completely.

 

My mistress intends for me to get mine pierced when things return to normal. She has always thought they look sexy and believes it would be a nice compliment to my chastity piercing. Of course, she took me to get a PA on our first date.

 

Years ago my wife had hers done during our bdsm phase and we used them quite a bit. I was the dog and she was the sub so it kind of made sense. When we started to switch the subject never came up but she did like using clamps on adjustable alligator clips on mine.

When we moved to chastity, we did discuss me getting a PA but decided against it. However, she did get a few more piercings, one in the naval and several more in the ears. On her they look sexy, especially when sitting at the pool and the sun reflecting off them.

 

I had mine pierced over 20 years ago, no regrets. I think it made them more sensitive. I remember the day of the piercing it hurt to walk, but that quickly faded. Around 8 years later, I decided to increase the size from the original 14 gauge. I found they had stretched them selves to at least a 12 gauge, getting to a 10 gauge took a slight effort. In an attempt to enjoy a bit of pain I stretched them to an 8 gauge, sadly it did not replicate the original feeling. I've stayed at 8 gauge for over 15 years, I think anything bigger is just not attractive. 8 gauge is 1/8 of an inch, or about the size of the lead in a #2 pencil.
The only issue I've had is with chest x-rays. I, of course, remove the barbells, but the x-rays have "nipple shadow" rare in men. It means it appears there is a spot on my lungs, but it's just my nipples.
It took a few years for me to be comfortable with clips again. I was terrified that I might do some real damage, but that was mostly in my head.
