Will wearing a male chastity device have any effect on a slighty enlarged prostate? Anyone have any experience with this situation?

I don’t think it will but that’s just based on years in the lifestyle.

Frankly you shouldn’t be getting medical advice here or anywhere but by a qualified professional. So what I anyone else says doesn’t matter.

Well except For one thing. Go talk to your doctor.

I know it’s scary. But you need to be open and honest with them. If not you need to find one you can. Your health is Too important to worry about being embarrassed or feel like you’ll shock them. I’m pretty sure you can’t. And if they can’t accept your lifestyle choices you need a different doctor.

I've posted about a bad experience telling a doctor I was bi and how I fired her. I’ve since found a great one whose only judgement is to make sure I’m safe and healthy. So I’d say do the same. It isn’t always easy but it’s important.

Yup absolutely agree with you. I resently had the dreaded colonoscopy and endoscopy. The doc noted several things of concern and sent in some biopsies. I've got a follow-up in a couple weeks. There's really not much information out there on the effects of long term chastity. I figured someone on here may have some insight.

I too am getting to where it's time for the dreaded scope. Not looking forward to it.
Not worried about the procedure, after all, it's just medical stuff.
It's the concern of not knowing what they will find.
    Best of luck.

I normally get these things done within the prescribed intervals. The whole covid thing pushed it back a few months. I would prefer to deal with an issue sooner than later. I have a close friend that kept putting his exam off for fear of getting bad news. He ended up with stage 4 colon cancer. Now he's fighting for his life.

The fact you know you have BPH means your are getting checked. Good for you. Keep it up.

Ask your urologist. The most likely concern other than skin issues and cleanliness, is lack of regular ejaculation. There does not seem to be a clear consensus on this topic so you need to ask a doctor you trust. They have seen and heard more than we can imagine so don’t worry.

I have BPH and have had no issues wearing a chastity device. At least no medical issues.

I had a colonoscopy done a few years ago. The procedure isn’t bad but the prep sucks. What was so bad for me was the incompetent Drs and hospital didn’t have a scope long enough So I had to go back and get a barrium enema done.

It had the same horrible prep, but you were awake for the procedure. So got to lay on a table, get a hose shoved up into me, then moved multiple ways for about 30 min.

In a sick twisted kinky kind of way it wasn’t what I’d call fun, But it was kind of humorous to myself laying there with my ass out, a hose up it and having a team of three women telling me what to do.

They were very professional and it took every bit of restraint not to be a wise ass and make any comment that could have got me in trouble.

As for the colonoscopy, it’s really not that bad after the prep. You go in, and they knock you out, then you wake and don’t recall anything.

Yeah the prep is absolutely horrible. This was my second time through the drill. My doctor and his colleagues in the room were very professional. My BPH was picked up on my last one as well. Apparently its just slightly enlarged, but I don't want to agrivate the situation. I think alot of guys put this procedure off because of the prep.

I can speak only for myself, but "no".

I'm on Xatral medication to lessen the problems (frequent need to pee and not much else).

As it happens, I don't even remember the whole damn thing in my daily life.

Enlarged prostate can be seen by the doctor using a camera which is put down your urethra. Minimal pain for the procedure but for a few days afterwards it feels a bit like cystitis when you pass urine.
