I have read here an other blogs, that when folks go thru airport security that they unlock and lock back up after passing thru. Question is where do you put your cage? Carry on, purse?

Yes, but the CB600 is a plastic cage. Those of us who have upgraded to metal (best thing that I ever did BTW) would not be so lucky. metal would alert them and I am sure that you would have been taken elsewhere for a private screening. There is a possibility that you would have been denied boarding. It's not right, but airport security are a law unto themselves!

I do have to wear my CD to work.
I work in the hospital and I have to change into scrubs before and afterwards.
I have to either hope no one else is in there, or ne careful to keep my back turned.

I’m in Saudi and Bahrain often and cross the borders daily. Never had any issues with metal detectors except at the Dahran Mall. Fortunately, they are big on racial profiling and just waved me by.

I'm in a very similar situation with travel in my work and its frustrating. The other issue is that some of the sites I travel to have additional security screening including all opening all bags.

The upshot of this is that we don't even take the cage for most of these trips at the time when a cage should be worn especially in the bars and clubs of our European cities.

Looking back at threads like this always make me wonder what happens to all these people! You see somebody who was a member for many, many years and then suddenly - nothing! Like also whats happened to @Mash2214?

I'm always locked. My doctor has even seen it. My wife wouldn't unlock me for the appointment. When he examined me and saw it. I acted like it was no big deal and explained why it was there. @Mash2214 had medical reasons for why he left. I did enjoy reading his journal. I hope that he is doing well. I think for many, life just happens and before you know it, you haven’t logged in for a long time. Maybe you come back or maybe you’ve moved on.
