I don’t know what a “good Domme” is, but this seems good (Female) Leadership to me. I recognize this in our relation. She likes very much to be served, but sometimes She just summons me to relax and She reverse roles. It is still Her Leading and me following. So, indeed, very good!

It would have killed me to sit there in warmth while She was out in the cold. I understand you were following orders as you must, but god it would have been like a knife in the gut to see her standing in a freezing cold line, or any line for that matter.
I would have borrowed her fuzzy pink hat, scarf and gloves and stood in that line as long as physically possible.

I only say this because I was a full time service submissive to a very tough and independent Mistress and this was a constant struggle for me and a source of minor friction in our dynamic. Like when she tried to sneak washing a few dishes and I caught her. Lol

The differences between relationships are unique in all relationships. I can understand the view of not letting her stand in the cold. On the other side there are many times I think pride comes up and we forget who we belong too. Sometimes simple logic makes the difference.

We all listen to all the different stories from others. There are so many little thoughts that go along with how we decide what is right to do. I do everything I can for Her, but there are times that I know She is right on.
The back and forth communication without even words says so much about a relationship. We tend to hear about how someone does this or that in a relationship and we have a tendency to gravitate towards things that we hear. I know I have myself at times.

To try to explain your dynamic to someone else is almost impossible. Our point of reference is internal not external. At least with us I know the love that we share is not like any other's. After being married over 40 years now, it is rather obvious we have something that not many have. To us chastity created a relationship of intimacy and true honesty with who we really are and what we are together. The last three years has been a whirlwind of change for us. I know how she cares for me and I listen to what She says because of the interest She has in me. I have learned over the years there are decisions that She is better at than me. We have learned to put it all together for the benefit of each other. I have learned that being submissive is not a weak thing to do. Yes we should never stop learning.

She has shown me another part of Her that I never saw for 37 years. Instead of being my journey She has made it our's.

There are so many reasons that you probably could never count them all. This was a small example of what can go one between two when they are in tune with each other. It has been said that it is easier to stand than to kneel. I marvel when I lay down beside Her and think of what we have that has gone even beyond the two of us... Long story, but a happy one. Sounds to me like @BR_Saiph knows exactly what I know to be true. It is a beautiful relationship when we really can trust someone totally, and it goes both ways. It is something that goes above the kink and deep in our hearts.

 

If it was my madam I would of been in the que and she would have been sat in the car, and when we got in I would of not been allowed a say on what went into the trolly!
