I read and enjoyed @L-u-c-y 's post today about matriarchal society and it got me thinking about an old sci-fi tv episode I watched as a young lad in the '80's that always stuck with me. (Hmm maybe early days of interest in male submission) I think it was Buck Rogers or maybe Kirk. Regardless, the setting was of Amazon type women warriors, and they captured him and his buddies and locked them in an outdoor wooden pen with all the village men. The men were fed a daily potion to keep them submissive. They were used for labor and sex. Of course Buck or Kirk or whomever get a romp with the boss lady. They are rescued by the female space fleet officers, and together show the warrior women that men and women can exist as equals. (I know that won't sit well on this site). Anyways I googled for pics and such but nothing is coming up with the outdoor pen, or anything like that. Closest I have found is Buck Rogers Planet of the Amazon Women (1979) https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0533106/ Does anyone know if this is the show I'm remembering? Side note, I loved this show!
I remember seeing an episode of Sliders where they went to an parallel universe where women were in charge, it's called "The weaker sex"
Or just wish for a day or three in his galactic shoes? I think Sci-Fi is often utilised as a platform to express femdom topics in a vanilla viewer world. (Crafty screen writers!) This is a bonus to those whom enjoy both .
There’s an old episode of Star Trek TNG with the same premise, the episode is called Angle One. That’s also supposed to be the name of the planet lol. The roles are completely reverser and they have the guys all dressed up in 1980’s style femmy clothes. I love the perspective
Yes that was a good one. The cast must have had a few chuckles making that one (and perhaps tried some role reversal themselves once the idea was put in their head).
On a side note relating to TNG, @MrsBR_Saiph has assured me that if we had a holodeck, I'd never be allowed in it unsupervised
I used to love Buck Rogers. Princess Ardala was my first crush and could never understand Buck's reluctance!
Wasn't there an episode of the star trek cartoon series (that was made in the early 70s) that had a femdom theme and had the female officers of the enterprise, led by Lt Uhuru, rescuing their male shipmates?
This sounds hot. Is the consensus that this was Planet Earth? Anyway, this thread reminds me of another sci fi series episode, and I can’t recall what the series was. The heroes/main characters had arrived on a planet ruled by women, and men were either not allowed at all, or else only as property/slaves. I can’t recall the details. Throughout the series, the heroes were constantly being pursued through space by a hateful law enforcement hotshot who tracked them to this planet, and when he tried to catch them there, he was caught and imprisoned by the women of the planet. I remember his angry blustering and screaming, in the restraints they had placed on him. Eventually his government negotiated for his release, but not until the heroes had made their escape. Does anybody have any idea what series that was? I had an inkling that the pursuer might have been played by Frank Gorshin, but I couldn’t find any such credit on his IMDb page, so it was probably another actor.
