I'm looking for input from anyone who could recommend, from experience, what a good option would be for a man who likes to run long distance? Ie, 6-10 miles several times a week. I'm looking for little to no bouncing, no chafing, and just all around comfort.

You're better off finding a device device that's generally co for table a s convene t for you to wear, and then find some supportive running shorts, or possibly Lycra padded bike shorts.

I'd recommend a plastic device at first, because you'll keep the weight down to about 3 oz, and less likely to bounce around.

Right, i always wear tight undershorts when running, so that's a given, but beyond that any specific models i should look for that anyone has used and thought "wow that's really comfortable while running", or exercising in general? That is a great point about plastic for keeping things light.

I wear the A271 when reffing soccer. I put some vaseline around the base ring before i go to the field to help when the boys retract and that has worked well for me.

I used to run distance and always wore a CBx series then. That worked, but it was always a bit iffy. Finishing up a 5 miler one cold morning i honestly thought my balls were going to get pulled off my body.

I only actually wore it yesterday for the first time, and happened to go running last night also. But the holy trainer was so comfortable, I could barely tell I was wearing it. I ran about 6 kilometers

I always wore plastic when cycling also, much lighter, and I recommend briefs or a thong under your shorts. They hold you in place so much better than boxers or shorts, only wear thongs and briefs now.

I run 3 miles a day in my cherry keeper cage. At this point, I don’t even notice it’s there any more. I used to wear various metal cages from China, and the additional weight would tend to pull down on my balls as I ran and by the end of a run was fairly uncomfortable. So, my recommendation for running is your favorite light cage, most likely plastic to be the lightest.

I am also a distance runner and I wear a Holy Trainer, not the Chinese knockoff. It is light and I rarely even know it is there. I have run with tight support underwear and with no underwear with my lined running shorts and both work fine without any issues. I also have a custom stainless steel Mature Metal Jailbird that is okay with support pants but heavy. Definitely prefer the Holy Trainer with no weight or bouncing lock.

My plastic Evotion is perfect for this. It's ridiculously light and doesn't move, especially with supportive underwear.

Something as lightweight as possible and some snug underwear.

Very good advice for running or any physical activity unless pain is you thing
Try running with a heavy metal cage and you will quickly realize why ladies that run wear very supportive sports bras

I ran 5km with a CB-6000s the other day it went fine. It was a little uncomfortable when I sped up near the end. Tight underwear, loose jogging pants or shorts. I tape my lock to the cage so it doesn't click every 2 seconds lol!

I do long distance running and wear a smaller metal cage to keep it lighter and not moving. I use some oil to prevent scratches of the skin and wear a man’s string or thong keeping it tight. Don’t like plastic, lighter but more heat and sweating. Like that I run up to 20k without problems. It’ s important that the cage fits and has no edges.
