My wife and I have disagreed on this for almost 20 years. For the case of chastity, if your KH locks you sometime during Monday and let’s you out on Wednesday how many days were you locked for? I would say 2 days since I was locked, my wife says 1 day. She will say “it has been one day since we you been locked”.
It depends on when you're locked on Monday and what if anything happened before it. I personally would only count days without orgasms or possibly even play, so if neither occurred on Monday, then it counts to me.
We have the same argument, but my wife goes the other way... She'll say Monday is Day 1, Tuesday is Day 2, and Wednesday is Day 3. I say Monday is Day 0, 24 hours later on Tuesday completes Day 1, and Wednesday completes Day 2. The ticker in my signature below seems to agree with my way of looking at it.
I'd say "two", but whatever your keyholder says is correct. Alternatively you could say... If it's less than 48 hours (Mon evening to Wed morning), it's only one day, if it's more than 48 hours (Mon morning to Wed evening), it's two days.
There is a difference between how long and how many days. You had it on for three different days, but depending on the time you started and stopped, you could be locked for a little as 24.1 hours, or essentially one day.
The time of day matters, and how many hours complete an entire 'day' is the issue Let out a half hour after 11:30 pm Sunday and locked back a half hour past 11:30 Tuesday night would be 2 complete days If it was 8 pm Monday to 8 pm Wednesday that's still 48 hours It's an opinion on how you see a complete day. Plus you can't argue opinions, only facts
Count the number of hours. Divide by 24 and round the result down. Ask yourself if it is wise to argue with your keyholder. If not ignore the result, else good luck.
The real question is, what is enough. Thinking days is a start, eventually weeks or even months are better.
