Designing a chastity device from a vanilla female perspective

I would have thought that a lot of women might be of the initial opinion that some full belts just look like steel underwear and could be aesthetically pleasing. They would probably be ok with them until the subject of defacating whilst wearing some of them .. then I think there thoughts might turn more to ....Eeeeww!

 

@L-u-c-y, what about coloring it with roughly the same coloring and hues to "blend in" like the male anatomy itself. Presumably the average vanilla lady isn't icked out by the male form itself, or she (likely) wouldn't end up with such an interest and invitation to begin with.

My thought was, if it looks in both shape and color roughly like the ordinary and mundane, maybe it'd go over easier.

That's not to say that there's anything I dislike about your jock/cup idea. I'm assuming you intended the cotton/elastic shorts part to be separate from the cage part? Otherwise the shower would get tricky. If anything, maybe present the jock-and-lock as like an all-in-one package, so it looks unthreatening and normal from the outside.

If mainstream with vanilla Females is the desired goal, then i suggest don't show a device period. A great piece of fiction aimed at Women from a Female author, similar to Fifty Shades of Grey, is all it would take to get the Ladies researching and talking with other Women about FLR, chastity, etc. If The Woman experiences arousal or simply sees the benefits, the deivce will be much more approachable and intriguing for Her.

 

I don't think it is fair to assume men designed all the chastity devices. Mature Metal has Mark and Rebecca. And who designs the Lori brand of devices?

Isn't that what a lot of male slaves did before all the devices came out? They had to learn to accept denial as part of life.

 

That's where my wife sits on the spectrum. She shouldn't need a gimmick or a game or a penalty to get something: she wants a husband who will do something because it's what he wants, too. She feels that a man should have the self control to do that, and I can't say I disagree.

She is put off by the sight and scent of a chastity device, and definitely doesn't want any part of it, including the key, on her person. She doesn't want to put. one on or take one off. She thinks they look uncomfortable or painful.

She isn't opposed to chastity, and I think she likes the concept that male sexuality is entirely her purview: a husband that doesn't have a release without her approval or direction, though our life isn't presently one of a strict state of affairs.

Her position is that a woman wants to know she's loved, and wants to know what she's safe, and that she's heard. Anything else will follow on the heels of those needs met, and they need to be met frequently. She gains nothing from a naked husband or a husband who is locked up, or punishing; she may do those things as a way of being kind, but they don't do anything for her.

I think what's needed most is for men, myself most of all, to try to hear what the women in our lives have to say, and after listening, to strive to help create the world they want. If we're truly interested in a female led relationship, then what she wants is really what matters. It becomes about hearing her and honoring her wish. It's a struggle for me; one of my many faults for which she shows far more tolerance and patience than I am due.
