Hi Folks, we are looking for a good container for our emergency key. I saw a small container where you can put the key in and it gets sealed and you have to breakt it to get the key out. It was a flat small plastic part ?! Does someone know what i mean *g thx

Cool idea. I have a Lori tube with the security screw system and the “key” is a T-shaped thing with no holes. Currently I use an old 35mm film can with two tags. I drilled holes on opposite sides of the lid, and then holes on opposite sides of the can, and run tags through each side. If I only did one side it would be like a hinge. not really a portable thing for in the pocket, but I can put it in my glove box of my car, or in my laptop bag and it is a lot better than a Master key combination box.
Many people use a short tube (metal or rigid plastic) which can contain the key, and drill a hole through the side. Thread a security tag through the hole, the key, and out the other side of the tube. The key can be accessed in an emergency, but otherwise not usable.
I poster mine in the gallery and because it's clear siper heavy plastic goddess uses it to tease me leaving it out ... The other key is on a bracelet

These are all great options. I reason that the right kind of "emergency" release depends on what your threat profile is and what stage you are in. I have read of some people using papier-mâché to encase it, others encasing it in ice or even some mixture of the two. These would be significantly more difficult to reach quickly, but perfectly feasible to get to with preparation. If you're worried about immediate impulse control, that might be a better avenue. If you are more worried about the situations in which you do need immediate, near instantaneous access, then some of the above sound much more like the preferred choices.
