Sitting here getting a bit bored, so I thought I'd start a thread where anyone can suggest appropriate music to listen to for the Covid 19 era. The idea is to take the suggestions of others and listen to them via whatever music streaming service you subscribe to.

For those of you who don't subscribe to a music streaming service........get with it, you fucking dinosaurs !

I'll start off with my suggestion:

    Artist: John Lennon
    Album: Plastic Ono Band
    Track: 5
    Title: "Isolation"

I love that album! That's my number one of Lennon's solo works.

    Ok, here's mine:

    Bob Dylan, "Tell Old Bill"

If you can't find that one try this one:

    John Cale, 'Twilight Zone'

I’ve heard that REM’s “End of the World” and Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive” have charted again

Someone else recently reminded me of The Police’s “Don’t Stand So Close To Me ‘86”.

"Thingfish" is a Frank Zappa parody of a Broadway musical play (never actually staged) from the mid 1980s which is an allegory of the AIDS crises (portraying it as a US governmental project aimed at gay men and black people).

Unfortunately is one of his least interesting works musically, and is lyrically quite offensive.

It does have some femdom and male submissive and BDSM themes .

I'm working at home and I prefer something fast paced without lyrics during work so I don't get too distracted. Currently loving synth wave music. Mostly been Carpenter Brut, Dance With the Dead, and Pertubator lately.

Outside of that my tastes vary wildly. The Descendents is my all time favorite band.
