I wonder where one could find out. Maybe at a place like Mister S in SF or The Leather Rack in DC this could be done, but I suspect most places in the US you'd be arrested or at least harassed. I'm sure in other countries, especially ones with more liberal social views it would be easier to see. But I'd also expect the reactions to be different. Actually, I'd expect the reactions to be different in different parts of the U.S. I'm pretty sure in Lynchburg, VA (the home of the Moral Majority) that this would not go over well, but might be laughed at or get mixed results in a big city.
I'm in Canada, and I have seen this one on CBC television, and I thought it WAS "Just for Laughs" who did this gag. It am almost positive it was a Quebec skit though. They do some great 'international' humour where language is no barrier to getting the joke; kinda like Mr. Bean...
