Makes sense, I've heard a lot of people can struggle with cycling. When I used to play rugby in college I would take off my cage. Between being afraid someone would come into contact with it or it getting hit and having an injury down there it was never worth the risk for me.

Yoga is the only thing I can't do wearing a device. Some poses increase the "tightness" in the area, and while its not physically discomforting, having a constant "pull" on my scrotum interrupts the quiet headspace I like to reach while doing yoga.

Anyone tried swimming while caged? That's my preferred exercise and I haven't given it a go yet. I can't imagine being able to wear a speedo while caged and not look ridiculous / obvious.

No idea why this would be a problem, maybe depends on the cut of the speedo, but I swim in the steelworxx regularly in brief swimwear, even went yesterday, doesn't affect it at all IMHO

It’s encouraging to see that most of the locked guys here have been able to stay active with little impact on their fitness routine.
Apart from all the listed activities which I participate in (biking, running, swimming, weight lifting) Does anyone have experience with chastity and CrossFit / HIIT style workouts? It seems like all of the explosive and quick movements might pose a problem? I’ve been jabbed in the cock & balls (accidentally) more than a few times during these workouts and I wouldn’t want the rest of the class to accidentally discover my secret.
Any recommendations on a very small silicone or latex device? Most of the ones I’ve found and the one I’ve tried have been cheap and flimsy. I believe a non-metal very slim line option would be the safest way to go for group HIIT style workouts.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

I had a suble issue with kettlebells, which I do at home. After one workout I had a backache, and realised that I wasn't keeping my back straight, so as to avoid the bell hitting the cage I had on at the time, which did rather stick out more than most.

IMHO 24/7 locking isn't necessary, so long as my KH questions me closely why I need to be out. Never out at night though.

I have another Q. about swimming: When I used to do scuba training in a pool, the chlorine was very corroding on the valves etc- worse than sea water. What does the chlorinated water do for the locks? Has anyone had to replace the lock due to corrosion?

The only activity I would not do while locked is downhill skiing.
Yoga, gym, cycling, swimming all fine for me

Riding for an hour may be fine, but I have found riding longer than an hour (I usually ride 2.5+ hours at a time) it is too uncomfortable and at time painful. Also, are you riding an upright bike, mountain bike, hybrid? If any of those it may be fine but riding on a triathlon bike, a bike fitted with aerobars, and/or if you ride in the drops constantly - because of the forward tilt of the pelvis, a cage may not be feasible or safe. Due to my riding, I am excused from being caged. My tight cycling bib shorts and the nature of my riding has been focused on something other than in my crotch. Take care and do what is correct for you!

I'm a cyclist. I commute still locked on a hybrid. For my long rides (over 30 miles) on ride bike I'm permitted to unlock; under 30 I stay locked, even on road bike.

I'm a martial artist (taekwondo) and I just got my black belt. I wore my cage for my test and found no issues with all the jumping and kicking I did for the two hours of physical and technical testing. I have yet to engage in sparring while caged and can't comment. I don't think I would like to try doing that anyways.

Interesting how similar we are. I'm good for about 20 miles of easy riding. If I'm in the drops a lot or going on a long ride, it really gets uncomfortable.

hi! I've read all your replays :) I have a Q? My wife has locked me in HTv3 Maxi a week ago. The cage is great and comfy.
Tomorrow i'm starting to exercise (to lose weight) at home & starting to run (3 miles for starters).

Can you all recommend what kind of exercises should i do and maybe some chastity reward/punishment program/system!

    Thank you :)

Does anyone run in a steel cage? He does circa 5k every day. I have so far given permission for him to not try running with it, however if others manage I'll rescind that privilege:)

I run about that distance a couple times a week with my jailbird without a problem. Before I figured out the right gap adjustment and I had too small a gap I went for a run and the burning at the base ring became unbearable. I had to limp home. If it's sized right it will not be a problem.

Swimming is my main form of exercise as well. I need to head to the Y shortly. It is no problem and I wear a sort of hybrid short/speedo. You think it's obvious because you know it's there, but most people don't walk around staring at crotches. The one thing I would caution you in is that if you use a conventional padlock make sure to keep it lubricated so it doesn't freeze up on you? I have the set screw on my jailbird, so not an issue.

Just curious... Did you find the ring size too large, too small, or just right? I think I am in the right size, but I have not messed with the gap, thinking one of the twins would make a break for it.

I am actually in contact with Mature Metal about reducing base ring size from 1 7/8" to 1 3/4" or smaller. I've found over time my body has adjusted somewhat and the cage is sliding to far out. I can actually pull out the back if soapy and unaroused. My theory is the constant hanging weight has stretched me out. M/M has agreed going smaller on ring is a good idea for me.

The gap was something different and that was something M/M diagnosed. I went out for a run (term used loosely) and I was about a mile into it when I started getting just intense burning at the base of the scrotum. I was barely able to move. Had to do a bow legged cowboy kind of limp back to the house. When I described this they had me ship it back and adjusted the gap and it never happened again. I've never had either twin escape with either set-up.

I did 5 miles the other day in my cheap chinese steel cage. Tied a string around my waist, jock strap and running shorts with liner.

I think long distance running (half marathon or more) would be tough. At those distances you tend to get chafing from regular clothes (on the nipples and crotch especially), a cage would be worse I think. Maybe if you lube everything up.
