I agree......she should close the lock.

 

It doesn't matter. Different people will have different methods. Whatever works for them is the right answer.

 

It can work both ways. Yes your SO closing the lock does or may give them a sense of power and possibly enhance their feelings of control or even dominance.

But you closing your own lock even if not actually in front of or even in the presence of yoru SO because you were told to or perhpas even because it is expected of you could be seen as an act of submission even an indication that you are consenting to ..or even asking to be locked.

It is in most caases a relationship dynamic thing but who who does the actually locking could be a mood thing.

In essence it is not always so much who closes the lock that is important. As long as it gets closed
