anyone experience with this very short cage?

It hasn't happened yet. It's a different type of hinge and if it was a concern a simple piece of surgical tubing could be sleeved over the hinge.
I'm not saying it's perfect but for the price it's far closer than others in my collection

... wich proves to me that the lock is ok!
So it seems like the tube is either really too short (so you can't shove it into the base-ring completely), gets tilted, the pins are not latched correctly or anything else ist twisted in a way, that the lock can't fit in when putting the cage on.
Got one cage with the same problems, but all I can tell you is: seems like you will need some time "fumbling things out" (or in that case "in")!

 

I had a difficult time getting this on as well. It requires fumbling and pressing and aligning the three parts of the ring while manipulating the lock into place. If it were a better cage it might be worth the effort but there are other $25 cages that just work better.

 

Keep moving the tube around while turning he key/lock. You will get it but the locks take awhile to move free.
My KH had to lock it in the beginning but I am easily able to do it by myself now.

I'm thinking to order this one which makes me to sit and pee like a real woman and feel like I have no penis

 

I have this cage and another (same cage design, solid base ring). You won’t feel your dick at all (it’s like it isn’t there). And you will pee all over your balls (as mentioned earlier). I couldn’t get the hinged device on (I needed three hands and I only have two right now). But I was able to wear the solid ring device so can attest to the feel of the device when on. If you can order multiple sized rings at the same time do it. Chances are you will get the wrong size and you don’t want to wait an additional 6 weeks to wear it.

I have the same but I changed the urethral tube for a longer one. I've posted photo in another post, and also uploaded to my gallery.

I've now had it on more or less continuously since beginning of February.

I remove it about once a month to clean the inside of the tube (use a cotton bud) as there is a build up of calcium deposits.

I have it off for 24 hrs only because I was going somewhere y'day where there a metal detector and most certainly would have set the alarm off! LOL!

I tend to wake up early with a kind of internal erection with the device being pushed forward!

 

I have a question per what Petevens mentioned. If a urethral tube/rod is long enough would that prevent pullout? Debating strategy as I'm quite addicted to the feeling of a tight cage and was debating options which 100% prevent access (outside of destruction of chastity device).

In answer to your question - definitely yes. I covered this point in a previous post. The original tube was too short. I can still kind of get to my penis but unable to remove the device without unlocking it. Hope that helps.

 

In theory a sufficiently long urethral tube should prevent pull out but penises can be pretty squishy. The only 100% way seems to be a piercing, although you're still subject to the limitations of the actual lock. Most (all) locks small enough to be used with a chastity device could be easily picked open.

When inserting something into your penis there is a risk of infection or damage. I would strongly suggest doing some reading on the subject first.

 

Thanks for the thoughts! UTI's are absolutely zero fun. Glancing around reading and looking at the wiggly squid I'm fairly certain you would need a very long stiff urethal tube. As someone else highlighted having an all metal rod fixed in your penis starts to cause some risks of damage while naturally moving, and the longer the rod the more problematic (effectively setting a fairly static length on safe chastity metal tubes). While a soft tube could still be pulled out with some significant work.

It was interesting to read a number of people mention locked urethal tubes did reduce the desire to attempt to pullout, since they described it as both unplesent and likely unable to push their squid back into the chastity.

 

Ive already commented on this thread and have made my views on inserts.

just thought I would pass on that I have tried this cage being too small was not that big an issue but no real good way of utilising my pa to add to security.

My main gripe is that the hinge should be on the lower part of the device enabling the end to open the other way, far more practical .... AND that the bulky part containing the lock being forced into close...too close... proximity to my scrotum proved to be too uncomfortable for me to want to persuade my Lady that we ought to give up our search for long term device.
