Some years ago, I read a paper (online) of a mentally unstable patient living in a "supervised" (I understood that as an institution) environment. For a number of reasons the patient had not ejaculated for quite sometime - the paper wasn't clear on the duration, but it seemed to indicate it was months or years. The poor guy wasn't even having nocturnal emissions.
He ended up in the Facilities medical station complaining of testicular / prostate pain.
The Dr. quickly diagnosed the problem and attempted to have the patient masturbate in the nearest restroom. What happened next is pretty disturbing, so........be advised.

The short version is, they ended up performing surgery on the guy, but, he ended up basically a eunuch. I saw something maybe that also posted by a doctor about the patient who didn’t ever relieve himself he was a mental patient and they said the same thing I think I may of read the same paper but I was under the impression he did not ever clear himself out for reasons due to his mental conditions .

Not that I am an expert, but the NHS happily perform vasectomy operations so as far the medical world goes there is no concern.

In the abstract perhaps but the reality is you aren't likely to cage 3.5 billion men, although I'm sure the Chinese would happily ramp up device production. What does better or worse mean and for whom? Are we talking increasing the population of "submissive" men? If so, I think there are a fair number of women who have no interest in having a submissive male partner despite advertised benefits of regular massages, toenail painting, and house cleaning.

I am indeed suggesting the latter: more chaste men would be better for society. I would not go so far as to say Hitler could have been curbed by a CB6000, but in general, if men were commonly taught sexual restraint as a societal norm, we'd be better off.

Well, here’s my experience: back in my 30s after we had 3 daughters and decided not to conceive again I got aggravated with using rubbers. When to unwrap? I have had the topic of this thread on my mind.
I got interrupted while posting yesterday. I omitted that both before my vasectomy and after my vasovastomy I have had prostatitis 3 times. The first thing the doctor did each time was express my prostate rectally. This is a painful procedure that immediately diminishes the conjestion and thus the pain of prostatitis. Follow up antibiotics finish the job.
