New to all of this, but have found that when wearing my cage, the head sometimes pokes out the end a bit and then rubs on my underwear. It's like a pin prick and really sucks. If it's not that it feels as if my underwear is pushing the ring back into my pelvis and that sucks as well. Anyone else have/had these issues? How do you correct them? What is the "best" underwear?
For me, the best underwear is a Lycra/spandex thong. They stretch enough so they're not pulling or pushing the device into an uncomfortable position, but supportive enough as well. Standard cotton bikini briefs don't have as much stretch until they weaken and start to give out. Boxer briefs are okay, but it depends on the material. The more spandex the more stretch, the more cotton, the less stretch. Thongs work well because they conform to the device better than underwear that has more bottom coverage and leg openings, but that can probably be alleviated with more stretch in the material or a proper fit. I find men's underwear better than women's underwear because the CB6000S I have gives a bulge, and proper fitting women's underwear doesn't take this bulge into account, but women's underwear is usually made from nicer materials. As usual, the fashion industry thinks we're all lumberjacks or something and comfort isn't nearly as important as camouflage prints.
My wife hates men pants and all the layers of thick material. She bought me Lycra-rich high leg panties which manage the shortish Jailbird quite adequately and feel much nicer. I wear man pants when running for the extra support needed. When sea swimming from a busy public beach i also wear them under loose trunks to hide the Jailbird outline when i get out dripping wet!
I used a jock strap today as an experiment and it made such a difference in terms of comfort, and discretion, ive already ordered three more pairs.
Compression shorts, switched over to them recently and have been blown away with how much easier they make things
My wife got me adidas boxer briefs that breathe . The dry fit kind . They seem to keep me in place well and don’t notice the jail bird is on while at gym or work
Also she got me jockey bikini briefs and they also have good support for work or gym, they don’t ride up and give me A wedge lol. The best part is she likes the way they look
Panties here, 24/7/365. Wife requires me to wear a jock when I wear swim trunks so there's zero chance anyone could see a steel cage once I get wet. She's correct, after getting out of a pool or the lake there's a odd looking bump on the front of my trunks.
Around the house (we are retired) I wear basketball shorts most of the time with nothing under them. When we are alone I am naked except for my cage. Working in the yard or leaving the house I wear adult briefs for medical reasons. The only exception is when we go to an adult club. Then I wear any of a number of special underwear she bought me. All have a pouch front and range from lacy to string bikini types.
They are not cheap, but I switched to Saxx Ultra boxer briefs with buikt in ball park pouch. They hold the cage away from the thighs. If you are in a cage that is too short, it can cause that.
I would agree with Saxx. I prefer the Saxx Kinetic version. I have been very happy with mine and wearing 24/7 hasnt' been a problem with mild exercise. If I am playing tennis, or other active sports I wear a jock. But for everything else. Saxx Kinetic is hard to beat.
