I've tried several devices and have some to the conclusion that the metal stainless steel devices are the best for requiring minimal removal for hygiene purposes. I've seen other say it around here in other threads but you can get a well ventilated metal cage pretty clean using q-tips in the shower. The biggest reason I personally have found for removal is trimming and maintenance on the area hair.
I tried the steel it was ok but I’m not letting myself shrink over time. No way in hell I love my penis the way it is. Also the ring on the bottom kept pinching me at night it was agonizing and not much fun. Plus I read it does alter your size for life if you don’t have a lot of room.

Yeah I have to say wearing it day to day is really comfortable and its easy to forget its there until it sends the odd reminder. Still not managed to find a fully comfortable sleeping position with it but I'm managing enough.
