    Too funny while the Carpenters weren’t a Classic Rock act there was a tangent about Karen in the Classic Rock forum on Fetlife.

    I remember watching their TV show growing up.

    Personally I prefer classic rock from the mid 70s and 80s. So for me

    The Eagles, Bob Seger and Jackson Browne (who are all friends) are some of my favorites.

    I also love The Doobie Brothers, CCR, most Southern Rock.

    And of course the ladies of rock, Heart, Pat Benetar and the woman I’d love to submit to Joan Jett.

    Throw in some Boston, Kansas, and I’m good.
    Add a little Chuck Berry, Bo Didley and Jerry Lee Lewis and I’m happy.

    I also like some country but mostly love the above.

    Omg I Love Heart and Pat Benatar. Have all her albums on vinyl LP. My favorite decades of music is the 60s and 70s.

    When I was in high school I had the biggest crush on Ann Wilson and Pat Benetar.

    I think Ann Wilson is gorgeous just not hot since women do nothing for me lol. Both members look pretty on DreamBoat Annie Cover. For back then Shaun Cassidy was hot but I wasn’t around then. His music is ok lol

    I also love Fleetwood Mac. Can’t go wrong with Rumours.

    Ahh Fleetwood Mac the train wreck of sex drugs and rock and roll. It’s funny the drama train is still going on as Lindsey wasn’t included on the current tour. But yea couple amazing talent with the drugs and sex and and add anger and hurt and Rumors was incredible even if Go Your Own Way May be one of the nastiest songs to ever write to a bandmate and long time lover.

    I'm ten years late, but then I was never much in touch with modern music: I've only just discovered Laura Marling, who is astounding in every respect. An astonishing lyricist, accomplished guitarist, inventive artiste, now directing her own videos. Simply wonderful in every respect. There are perhaps a dozen or more songs that I can't get out of my head.
