OK, I'm traveling a lot more now and taking the Jail Bird on the road is an option but I'd rather NOT have access to the key if possible. I'd like to find a cage that will pass a metal detector that I can use for short term trips. A plastic or silicone body, base ring and lock. It needs to be short (1.25 - 1.5") and I would like it to be inexpensive but I'll spend the money if it works better. There seem to be fans of the CB series and Holy Trainer but I'm just starting my quest so I welcome any education you wish to provide. What do you recommend?
I've seen people saying you can just ask for a pat down instead of going through the scanners and that kinda bypasses the issue of wearing a metal cage. I haven't done it personally but I'm about to find out soon. My wife has me locked 24/7 in a lori 8C with a PA and has 0 intention of letting me because of a flight...
I use a Vice by Locked in Lust for traveling and going places where there are metal detectors (concerts, Disney World, etc.). Probably a bit more expensive than what you're wanting to spend, but that's what I sue. There are knockoff versions of the CB-6000 around as well. You can find them on Amazon. You'll just need to play with them and find one that is comfortable for you to wear.
I’ve used the knock off versions of the cb6ks with a plastic numbered lock. I have had no issues with body scanners the 8 times I’ve flown with it. I normally go on week long business trips and wearing the knockoff that long without access to clean is miserable. So I normally wear the plastic while traveling and when I get to my destination I ft with my kh and then seal the key in an envelope while she watches.
I used a ghost by custom Chastity through the ADT full scans. No problem. The small inner lock wasn’t a problem apparently. HT uses the same locks, so that could be an option
Just wear your usual device and go with the consequences ... asking for a pat down is an option but seriously why should you care what other people think about what you wear for your partner's and your own pleasure? You won't be the first they have seen and you will most certainly not be the last.
