How things change with time and love.

This past Friday, my Bride had orthopedic surgery and has been on the mend. She has been doing well with Her recovery and I have been doing all that I can to help, getting Her medications, ice for swelling, making PT appointments, along with the regular day to day stuff, etc... While She has by no means forgotten Her "dirty little boy", She promised that tonight She would try the new toy delivered while She was away. She also mentioned that the kids would be out of the house as well. Of course, funny thing, She still claims She's not sure how She's going to use it, although She is somewhat aware of the possibilities. ie: teasing vs. discipline vs. punishment. I don't think it will be punishment, but I guess time will tell.

 

The evening began somewhat like any other with my Bride telling me to take Her out to dinner. Of course I obliged and we went to one of Her preferred local establishments close to home, enjoying each others company, the entertainment, and talking with friends who also frequent that location. It was also a chance for us to be out without children, an opportunity She seemed happy to take advantage of.

Finishing our drinks and paying our bill, we were home rather quickly, although there was still some time in the evening left. Once home, She seemed content enough, sitting on the couch, gazing endlessly into Her Iphone for quite some time. This couldn't help but leave me with the impression that She wasn't too excited to investigate the new Humbler waiting for Her amusement, in spite of Her suggestion to give it a try just the night before. As the the remainder of the evening wore on, She finally said "lets go" and give it a try. I was a bit dismayed already at this point with Her hesitation and motivation. It left me feeling rather badly.

I did manage to put the humbler on by my self as She watched. She was amused and laughed a bit profusely, waking my behind a few times with Her hand. But Her discomfort, delayed motivation and direction was apparent. She told me to shut up a couple of times and promised to get a gag for me in the future, as anything I had to say only seemed to make things worse. My incarceration with the humbler ended rather quickly, and we lay there on the bed talking about Her comfort level, the purpose and direction of our FLR, and what we were doing. On another note, She revealed to me last night that She has booked a cruise for us this Summer to Bermuda. She knows that I have never been on a cruise and neither of us has ever been to Bermuda.
She is still full of surprises, no matter the outcome, and I am so lucky to be with Her.

 

We entertained two other couples this weekend on our boat. It was a short trip, just a few hours from our home port. We all had a great time without a doubt. The weather was mild and pleasant. The food and drinks delicious and plenty. Our interactions were all fun and pleasant. We even went to a nearby casino to bet on the big Belmont Stakes Horse Race, actually picking the 1st and 2nd place horses, winning a few bucks. But what made the weekend the most interesting and fun for me was when She told everyone how She was going to keep me quite, put me in my place, and put a ball gag in my mouth. They all loved it, and the subject came up more than once. lol....... Yes, I suppose I should have looked for a place to hide. But as everyone laughed and enjoyed the thought, I just smiled quietly and realized how lucky I was that She was thinking of me like this, and not afraid to tell everyone. Need I say more.

 

My Bride called me tonight from Her hotel, away on business for the week. Funny thing is, we have never had a conversation using Face Time. Tonight was the first time. I must say, I found it to be more enjoyable than I expected. Something we probably should have tried and done long before tonight. She looked tired lying on Her bed, but I felt like I was able to be closer to Her on the phone more than usual, as we could see each other clear as day. Out of no where in the middle of our conversation, She asked to see my cage. I guess I shouldn't have been surprised, but I was. With the arrival of Sunday, my Bride and I made breakfast at home for everyone. Many times, She offered me the opportunity to make the direction of the day my own, as it was Father's Day. The only thing I felt like doing was being with those kids in our household who were home and with us, which is not always the case these days as they are getting older. After I finished cleaning up the kitchen and dishes, She offered to bring my oldest son and myself to a salon for a foot reflexology message. Turns out, She really wanted to go shopping at the new sex shop in the city, with me. The man working in the store was a bit uptight and not real friendly, but it was a new store stocked with lots of cool looking things, including the items she wanted. Although She never did hint at or suggest unlocking me at any time as She had just the day before, I enjoyed our day together so much. It was the best Fathers Day I can remember ever.

 

After looking at my post again, I realized I need to learn how to spell the word massage, not message. lol....
Honestly, from my Wifes reaction, I could tell this was not something She planned. I believe it just happened to go down the way it did. I think that's why we were able to laugh together about it so much later in the day. If She planned it, She did a good job of keeping it to Herself and hasn't let the cat out of the bag.

 

As the week days ticked by She promised to punish me on several occasions, something I am honestly not accustomed to. It started with my moaning and groaning about a couple of things I really had no control over accompanied by my less than chipper attitude. I won't try to predict my failure or success, but I do believe She is doing what She can to get the best from me, and I want to succeed and be there for Her around every corner. Think I might be getting more than I bargained for at this point, but I wouldn't go back to our old ways ever. She has also made it clear over the last few weeks that She has no intention of ever letting go of Her place and FLR with me.

 

It's so nice being on vacation now for the next few months. Being free of a full time job allows me to pay more attention to the things that I know are more important, like my Bride, our home and our family. So, it has been nice to wake up next to Her with no need to hurry out the door for work.
