Update Discrete advertising

    We have introduced some discrete advertising to the site to pay the monthly running costs.

    On the desktop version of the site it can be seen at the bottom of the page below the forums. On the mobile version it's between the forums and side bar.

    This means that donations for the site are no longer needed! A big thank you to all those who have donated in the past :)

    I thought that this should have happened years ago, I would take it further and go with a pay version that removes advertising. I don't think that people care about paying for a site that is been run well and that there details are kept safe as long as the payment is not to much and is not pushed all the time.just to let people know the option is there for them if they want it.

    I had heard Jens footed the bill for a long time - that is dedication!
    And now the baton has been passed to you - your dedication is obvious.

    My dad used to take us kids hiking/camping and taught us to leave the trail better than when we got there. Its a principle I live by and apply to many aspects of my life.

    I want to play my part to help better CM.

    Thanks for keeping the site and it's members together. Hope things continue to go well for all concerned. The popularity and growth of this lifestyle seems to be taking hold and growing globally, and there are several reasons I say that.     I will comment more on this thread later, but meanwhile I don't see the link to the ad at the bottom of the page.

    Maybe a year ago I had some PMs with Jens on advertising which he had in mind as a new development and I did some research for him and the pitfalls, albeit I was in favour in principle, for which he was grateful.
