You know the one. It's a chrome ring beneath the scrotum. O/ours arrived with a short(ish) yellow tube that slipped over the hinge bit.
But after a while it started break and eventually tear.
The problem is that without i get nips etc and they are can become cuts etc ... so
I have tried looking for replacements on all the online shops, and apart from one site, ( who do NOT have them stock), I can't locate them anywhere. To be honest i am not even sure what to google the under...
That one site I found, call then "Comfort tubing SPARE"
So does anyone have any ideas. ?

So, if I understand correctly, the tubing prevents pinching at the hinge. I have a similar ring and it didn't even come with tubing to cover the hinge. But that was on a Kali Teeth bracelet, and I don't really use it much because of the damn hinge. You might find the appropriate diameter tubing at a hardware store and cut it to the length you need. As long as you can get it to wear it needs to be on the base ring at the hinge that might work. However, unless you absolutely love this set up, I might also suggest you try a new cage with no hinge at all in the base ring. Either way. Hope this helps.

Thank you JiL, for your advice. Once i figure, the size or diameter of tubing needed i will see if i can pick some up.
i do have another cage, but it was made from a resin... and totally too painful to sustain, and i have a cb6000 type on order from France which should be here in a week or so..
Mistress is keen to get me locked up again, this time a more sustained period/periods of time, so comfort of a sort is required.
The chrome one was fine except for the hinge.

I wrapped the hinge bit with a small amount of duct tape. It stopped the pinching but the real cure was to step up and buy a custom made jailbird with solid double ring.

Medical supply stores sell surgical tubing - I think that is similar to the original no?

I pull the small tube off, and replace with surgical tubing as mentioned above, but I do it on the whole circumference of the base ring. Much more comfy that way.

You could probably use ‘heat shrink’ tubing - the stuff they use for electrical connections.

They come in different sizes and as the name suggests they shrink in diameter when heated to fit perfectly.

I tried the heat shrink, yes it will go over and heat up and shrinks nicely but after a few times taking it of for cleaning I noticed that the heat shrink would become very brittle and break.

Hmmm, having the same problem here. i really love my metal cage better than the synthetic ones, watching my puny prick flesh bulge between the bars ;-)
But yes, after about ten days the nibbling ring on the lower side is causing problems. i don't really mind the pain & discomfort, but the small wounds are in a moist place, close to the body and the sanitary napkin which is necessary for catching urine drops that can't be wiped off. A risk for nasty infections?

Advice from more experienced members is highly appreciated!

    Keep us caged in!

You need to look for silicone tubing available on ebay and others, sold by the metre. Work out what internal diameter you need (probaly 8mm) it is much more durable than the yellow tubing supplied. And yes it is better to cover the entire ring rather than just the joint.

Have taken a look at that, thanks for your reply. The basering is not actually a circular ring:
    cageOnly.png
and i have to get across the almost 90 degree curve from the lock hole to the ring, so i'll need a diameter a lot bigger than 8 mm.
Been experimenting with the (cut-off) fingers of household handkerchiefs on the spare rings and that looks promising! So now it's up to permission of my Key Holder to remove the cage temporarily.

Have you tried rubbing the tubing with a light coat of baby oil. That's what I used on my hinged ring. It kept the tubing moist and didn't dry out as fast. It worked for me. Just a suggestion.

Thanks for the useful suggestion. Willing to try anything to keep the cage in place and Mistress pleased.
