Did you try a cheap device first? Or did you jump straight to an expensive one?

It was either 2007 or 2010, I can't remember if I was just home from Iraq the first or second time. In any case, I bought a Birdlocked which at the time was cheap as far as chastity devices go, way before the market was flooded with the super cheap Chinese devices.

    My first was CB6000.
Not a cheap one, but not expensive either. I have worn it for years on and of (I bought 6000s for a better fit).
Then I went for MM jailbird...

My first Device was a home built. It was similiar to the CBX ? I have a picture of it posted. The first one I bought was a CBX6000 than I ordered the shorter cage.

My first device was a CB6000 before moving to a CB6000s. The opportunity to try different sizing rings was worth the cost.

In 2007 I bought a birdlocked silicon device. It was way too small and I would slip out the bottom. The only other devices were the cb series and very expensive or custom. I hadn’t broached the subject with my then wife so I end up throwing it away and gave up on it.

I lurked here for years, reading up on fit and devices. When I met someone that felt I could share this with I ordered a mature metal jailbird. Even paid extra for rush service...omg that device was expensive lol!! It fit perfectly and would still be my device if I hadn’t took chastity to another level with a piercing. That is the device I wore for someone else first, wore for extended times and first explored my other half.

My first device was the CB2000, which I enjoyed, but being new to chastity, I was unsure about myself and kinks and gave it away. Eventually replaced it with a CB3000, which split on me, pinching my skin until it bled (ouch), and replace *that* with a CB6000 - which also split.

Got out of their range then and picked up an Exobelt V1, which sounded great but was terrible.

Went whole hog and picked up a full belt from Locked in Steel - but when they went out of business, my belt vanished with it (it was back for resizing - never to be seen again). These days I have a Holy Trainer V2 and a Birdlocked Mini (and a Pico for play) - and am currently debating on either the HTv3 or a MM

CB6000 - It ended up splitting on me and pinching like crazy. Switched to MM.

The first device I used was a small leather strap fastened immediately behind his knob.

Cb6000s. Still have it. But cant wear this long time. Just too painful for me. My record was 24 hours. At the end of 24 hours lock up i was calming down my balls in water with ice, but this wont help, i was still so turned on. and i was scary that i can hurt myself.

Like many, mine was a CB2000 and it eventually broke as well. Went to the MM Queen's Keep and have never looked back.

i started wearing some home made devices back in the mid 90's after stumbling across Altairboy's website or group back in the AOL days. They never really worked very well and looked ridiculous. I then had an online lady friend that surprised me and sent me a CB2k in the early 2000's...... been quite the ride ever since :)

Inexpensive CB-3000 type of device. Then cheap Chinese metal devices and then custom expensive.

I bought a cb6k for Ian, and have stuck with it. I like that it's clear plastic, and also that it isn't discreet when he is out and about.

Attempts at homemade devices, including a couple of KTBs. Then a CB2k, and a ball trap device from Mr S Leather, and a bunch of other toys that weren’t practical for continuous wear. There’s a picture of my whole collection somewhere in my profile photos.

My first custom device was a Looker 1 from Steelworxx, but I ordered it a bit too big and my Wife never warmed up to the idea of the insert.

Finally, my Jailbird which fits perfectly and keeps me happily locked away!

The Curve. (many years ago having seen it online)
I found it way too bulky to wear under clothes and do stuff like driving while wearing so quickly migrated to the CB2000.

The first purchase we made which opened the door to all this was really less a chastity device and more a little harness of sorts. Available at any local toy shop for £$€20.00 or so. Simple, non-intimidating, non-painful. More playful than anything. No concerns about security or anything like that. But it gave her her first taste of what it was like to have and play with control over my member. She enjoyed it so much she got online and got to googling - found this site and bought whatever device was next. This confirmed her interest and enjoyment (and my cautious willingness). That was it. From there it was“off to the races”. She introduced me to CM a month or two later and the male obsession with gadgets and hardware entered the mix.

But for someone just starting out, or just curious, please don’t think you have to go nuts following suit with what you see on this site. Totally unnecessary. If you want to take it there later you can, but you’ll know by then that that’s the direction you want to go. An embarrassing amount of money and more than a year of trial and error later and we arrived at what we consider our ideal device in terms of the role the device plays for us. But it was a $20.00 purchase that was all that was needed to experiment with the feelings involved.

A proper CB6000. They went inexpensive back then.
