    That was interesting o_O
I was on a business trip in the US and on my way home I had forgotten to take off the Looker2. The key was sent with the luggage so was already checked in and I just remembered that I had forgotten to take it off when it was my turn to put my belongings on the belt.

I didn't really have enough time to get nervous. Interesting enough they didn't have me go through the full body scanner but through the metal detector. Why I don't know but there was not one beep. I assume it was broken or malfunktioned? That was SFO Airport.

Needless to say that I quickly packed up my stuff and walked off very reliefed.

That doesn't give you a lot of confidence in airport security.

WOW! It is a bit scary knowing it didn't pick it up. Was on my way to Dr. this afternoon and knew I would have to take my pants down when I realized I still had mine on. I cut the lock on the emergency key box to get to the key. That might have been a bit embarrassing since it was my first visit to this Dr.

Last time I had to cut the plastic lock I got 5 + 2 + 2 whacks of the cane.

I wear belts, watches rings through airport metal detectors, my best guess is they are set up to detect knives and guns and the specific steels they are made of

It wasn't a full body scanner. They had some people walk through that one and others not. It was a metal detector. I do think that a metal detector should go off with that amount of stainless steel. I was and still am very surprised but don't think it is the norm. So no tip from me to try to replicate my experience ;)

I almost always end up going thru the full body scanner, and I can't imagine I would pass right thru without detection. I think you had a very fortunate day, or they new what was going on but didn't say anything to you. But who knows. Your right though. I wouldn't try that a second time. any time soon.lol....

I remember shortly after 9/11 there being a program on UK TV where they interviewed amongst others a guy who was ex Israeli security services and he just dismissed the whole metal detector thing by saying "well, I could kill you with a credit card". He seemed like he could quite calmly have given a demonstration if asked.

Perhaps airport security is like the Yes Prime Minister take on UK defence:-

Sir Humphrey: Bernard, what is the purpose of our defence policy?
    Bernard Woolley: To defend Britain.
Sir Humphrey: No, Bernard. It is to make people *believe* Britain is defended.
    Bernard Woolley: The Russians?
Sir Humphrey: Not the Russians, the British! The Russians know it's not.

that Israeli security guy has a lot to say about our nonsecurity at airports. Israel does a much better job with security then we do. the TSA, the body scanners, metal detectors are a joke.

and he's right about the credit card just look at what prisoners can kill people with and they have access to nothing just think what a criminal could do with whats at the airport.

If it does go off and they strip search you and see it's a chastity device would they let you on the plane. I don't have a problem letting them know I'm locked

It's be more upset about revealing to my Dr than an actor in the security theater. TSA has already stated they aren't prohibited, so have at it.

Some of the older metal detectors are only designed to detect ferrous metals, so stainless wouldn't set them off. It's also possible the device wasn't set right.

I flew out of the Tel Aviv airport a few months ago and the only thing I think makes their security better is that the ABSOLUTELY PROFILE. They barely looked at my stuff but they go through some people's stuff with a fine tooth comb. They don't waste time on people that are not a statistical risk. You get a yellow sticker on your passport at the first security check where they ask you questions and that sticker has a bar code and numbers. They can tell by what the numbers are if you are a high or low risk.

Correct and that's huge it really is. They profile based on behavior and other criteria which is drastically different then how we do things.

I have remained locked on a couple of visits to my Doctor. The last time was during my annual physical with my Mistress in attendance. While I was bent over for the prostate exam, I'm sure the Dr. could see at least the back ring of the Watchful Mistress device, but she didn't say anything about it. Her rectal exam was a bit more vigorous than usual however, which my Mistress could see reflected in my expressions. From her vantage point, Mistress could also fully see the chastity device dangling between my legs. She found this all quite amusing....

You're lucky. My metal cage triggered the alarm at the museum. The ensuing hand held wand then quickly spotted where the metal was located!

I fly a _lot_ to many different airports. I've found that the bigger airports such as SFO, LAX, JFK, etc the metal detectors seem to be MUCH less sensitive. The smaller airports seem to be WAY more sensitive. I'm TSA Pre-check so always go through metal detectors and wear the same belt every single day. Based on experience I can wear my belt through the bigger airports and take it off through the smaller. It has a double ring brass buckle.

Usually I'm allowed to take my device off the morning on my way to airport then I have to take a pic of it back on in the airport bathroom after going through security. I've had one or two issues where TSA has pulled it out of my carry on bag and asked what it was.. Talk about embarrassing!

Hi, new to the forum, not to chastity.

I've worn a few SS cages through the airports. Both the body scanners and the metal detectors. I know they could see it in the image scanner. My home airport has this type, but I've not been stopped in any way related to the cage. Ive worn my Ls Lori #9, Mature Metal Queens Keep and some Ms Lori that do not have a cock ring, much less metal. No issues to report.

Sounds like they are easier going in the US than they are here in Aus, my looker 2 set off alarms everywhere. The first time I was taken to a room and I had to show them (which was actually hilarious). the second time i told the big black security dude what it was and he laughed so loudly everyone turned to look and then he waved me through..
