Hi guys, wondering if anyone has had Scrotum (skin) irritation? My pet wears a bon4, and sometimes a portion of his skin on his Scrotum gets slightly red, rougher, and it burns when using soap, even sensitive skin soap. It goes away bit it comes back too. Any advise? Anyone else had this issue?
Yes. We've only been able to have me locked 24/7 by overcoming this issue. It's worse after (locked) sex when the skin gets pulled through the base ring of my Jailbird. Usually calamine and glycerine cream which contains zinc which is great for skin calms everything down very well. Sometimes the skin breaks and then I use an Elastoplast blister plaster for a few days and the skin heals over. Good luck.
I have experienced it too. I think (in my case) it is a combination of rubbing, stretching and slightly restricted blood flow to the skin in that area. I am now in a stainless steel device and still experience is occasionally but a lot less than with plastic or other materials. K.x
Silcone lube or mineral oil gel will help. I lube my Mature Metal device (including under the base ring) twice a day. If you aren't using a metal device, just use mineral oil gel.. Silicone lube may break down a silicone device.
Yep, I have worn a custom Jailbird that fits me like a glove for 4 years 24/7, or thereabouts when practical. I would get skin irritation every 6 weeks or so. Now at the age of 65, I cannot wear my Jailbird for longer than 3 weeks of so without skin irritation. It is not red but irritated nonetheless. I have searched online and it is just called burning balls because no one really knows why it occurs and yet many men have this problem. Right now my testicals feel like they are on fire and I cannot see a thing wrong with my skin. I know that this will pass in a few days but I am getting it much more often that it makes long term lockup problematic. We are trying to work with smaller periods of lockup and play it by ear.
Hey Vinny, I was just wondering your opinion on something. We were wanting to have a vacation on a nude beach sometime soon and my husband wants to wear his cage but we weren't sure if that would be offensive to somebody? Or is these places just say anything goes kind of deal? We aren't dead-set on wearing the cage but we were just wondering if that is something you can do without a lot of drama. Thanks friend! - Lady K
For future abrasion issues nappy cream works wonders. Depends on the beach if it is one of the very liberal lifestyle resorts then likely ok. However if it is one of the public free to ware what you want or not then no. Remember old skool naturists are often against body piercing and tattoos as it offends the purity of the movement. Also think about children and getting more attention than you may want or feel comfortable with . Xx Wendy
Hi, i have previously worn a metal cage on a public naturist beach in the UK without too many looks but was fairly discrete. However, we are going to a 24/7 naturist resort in the summer and I know they won't allow it as eve piercings have to be removed. The logic is that a nude body is just that and wearing a piercing or anything else that highlights the genitals adds a sexual element. We have already decided that I will be nude during the day but will be locked back up to go to bed or whenever I am wearing clothes. To add to the comments on his red scrotum, it could just be damp. If he is wearing it long term and its a good fit the chances are the skin is not getting properly dry in a silicon cage. Use a hairdryer after a shower and try to get the air inside the cage then use some talc to get it nice and dry. Hope that helps S
I am still trying to work out the kinks of long term wear myself, but have found silicone lube to be nice for a short period of time, but from a hygiene point of view, is not so good. I have found baby oil, spread lightly around the ring especially, has just about eliminated chaffing, thank God. Some days I might use a small amount once at the beginning of the day and again later in the day, depending on how physically active I've been ...etc.... I put Baby Oil on the base of the ring automatically now, even after having showered and cleaned the device. Seems to be working out well so far, as I want to stay locked 24/7 as much as possible presently.
I've never had an irritation problem with a steel device that fits well (though the longest continuous lock-up I've done is six weeks, so YMMV) as long as i use some sort of lube every day. I have been using silicone lube for the past three years. I don't see it as a hygiene problem with an open style cage like a Jail Bird but it is hard to wash off your hands -- I ended up using a spray bottle of rubbing alcohol to get it off. I recently switched to baby oil when I found one that didn't have that awful baby powder scent -- it's Johnson's Shea & Cocoa Butter Baby Oil Gel. It is easier to wash off and moisturizes your hands. It has a little more scent than I'd' like but it isn't unpleasant.
Never heard of Cocoa Butter Baby Oil. Would love to try that. Locked for 3 + years. Holly ............. That is quite an achievement.
Humm Cocoa butter baby oil sounds like sex in a bottle to me . Can you imagine how that would smell . . Xx Wendy
Lanacane Anit-Chaffing Gel is the best! It has a nice dry feel but it causes the skin to become just a little slippery. It's not messy or oily and won't stain anything. It lasts an entire day. Absolutely a must-have for me! After putting on the base ring, rub some on the scrotum under and around the ring and your are good to go. I have a MM Jailbird but if you have a closed tube device I am sure it would be great to help get the penis down in the tube without feeling wet or messy. Always had that issue with plastic or silicon devices, the shape of the base ring has more than a little to do with it. When I switched over to steel years ago, it mostly went away. I'm old school I guess but I just use vasoline and a qtip for lube and if irrigation becomes an issue I use triple antibiotic ointment at the first sign of problems. There's always going to some minor issues like this associated with this thing we do, the perfectly fitting, 100% çomfortable, issue free chastity device hasn't been invented yet but then again, if it was easy, every man might be locked up mighten he? have a nice holiday!
