Has anyone been to a concert wearing your metal cage, and the metal detector went off? If so, what happened? Metal detectors like the ones used at many concerts work on ferrous metals. Generally speaking, if a magnet doesn't stick to anything on the cage you should be fine.
Went to a Cubs game this year, didn't realize they would have detectors at the gate. No key!! Ahh!! Went right thru. Not exactly high security. Should be fine, worse case he mentions he has some body jewelry.
I agree, wear it and if anyone asks at security just say it's body jewelry. They'll just assume it's a piercing which is no big deal. I went to a concert wearing my jailbird years ago and it didn't set off the wand so they might not even pick up on it
