    I think that anyone who drinks while intoxicated should have the book thrown at them but this article is an invasion of privacy. Releasing this detail serves no purpose. The chastity device is nothing to do with the dui.

    I think you meant drives while intoxicated lol. Yeah I agree, it was a slight invasion of his privacy to release that info...buy hey....that's what the media does....it will cause a conversation or debate and bring ratings.

    I agree about the invasion of privacy, but the press tend to mention additional info if they feel it is of interest to their readership.

    I think we'll be hearing more mentions of CDs in the real world as time goes on, which can only be a good thing - I just hope there are mentions in more positive stories.

    I concur. He should be looking into a lawsuit against that department for leaking the info.

    I have been waiting for a real media report about chastity in the mainstream. Well you cannot get more mainstream than Joe Sixpack.
    I do, however, think it was totally wrong to out this man. Maybe that is just the way it will begin.
    I still look for a famous person to out themselves in their relationship.

    This has always been my ultimate nightmare. On occasion I have driven with a device and on occasion have driven dressed in various ways. The reality is that once the police are involved (and not just a DUI, but any traffic stop, etc.), you are pretty much at their mercy. If you are arrested, etc. then all the details are fair game and will get out. You don't have any recourse. I never drink and drive, but any number of other accidental occurrences can happen. This has also been an issue during raids of clubs, etc.
