    I wanted to ask the forum users who have tried ring less devices. Which model/maker you tried and how they worked for you compared to the standard ring models.

    I recommend the PA-5000. It's not a perfect device and you need to have a PA for security. But, for a chastity device, it's rather comfortable, inexpensive.

    I have recently developed a new plastic KTB and produced it via 3D printing. This new KTB is secure without a PA, but it's intense to wear. The longest I have seen it worn to date, without a break, is for 4 days straight. They will eventually be available for purchase.

    Been Ringless for years now, best decision ever made. Once the PA was stretched and healed. Started with the PA5000, then the Steelworxx Tube Jacket, now with the Lori's #5. The final device being the most comfortable and affective.
    As a form of correction D locks me in a Lori's#12, which has a ring, and I can assure you I am very keen to be locked back in the #5 after a couple of days.

    ive used the pa5k. it was very painful on my ring hole in the beginning mostly cause the tube was too big. I have modified it and made the hole smaller but now its too small and is causing swelling of my foreskin. It goes away if I slide it around throughout the day. Kinda painful though if I have an erection for too long though. IF you do get a ringless device make sure the tube hugs your penis very well so that the weight of the device is not all on your ring hole. I think that is the key to those devices or at least some snug underwear to help support the device.

    @ineverknew

    Are you saying that you are uncut, have a PA, and can wear the PA5000 and the Tube jacket?

    I have been away from devices for some time, but really wanna get started again, and making it work this time.
    I would be willing to get a PA down the line, if I ever met a partner that is seriously into it.

    But i'm even considering it know :)
    The ting is I have quite some foreskin, and it swells when I'm wearing plastic devices, so I wanna go with something open.

    Here's my options.

    1. Get a Mature Metal Jailbird - NO PA
    2. Get a Steelworxx Looker 3 - NO PA - For now.
    3. Get a PA - Let it heal - Get a PA5000.
    4. Save for a Steelwerks.

    Any help would be nice :)

    Frenotomy can be an alternative to circumcision. But I see no reason to worry about to get circumcised.
    Calculate your plans: how long you plan to be in chastity, and without. It tells you about the need to be circumcised.

    P.s. Tube-style device, the most practical, is a completely different experience.

    KTB can be worn ringless. But this case you need tight briefs to wear it at daytime.

    @HZX I didn't know about frenectomy. Look's like a perfect solution to me. Followed by a PA. Have you done that?

    @ineverknew Which device do you wear now? What is it about the PA5000 that makes you swell, the holes in the tube? Would it not swell in a solid tube from Lori or Steelwerks?

    I'm just not suited for the ball capture devices.

    @cphchast, anything attached to your penis which is only hanging from the pa will make it hurt after a while in my experience. So I made the inside diamter of my pa5000 about 3/4" so it would grip the outside of my penis and not rest so much on the pa itself. So when an erection would happen everything would swell up and then afterwards the foreskin would stay swelled up. If I pulled the skin around I could get the swelling to go down but it took constant massaging of the skin back and forth. I now wear the contendor with a pa pin from malechastitynow.com. If you can get the grip just right where your skin does not swell it may work, but hard to say. I am a grower so my flaccid size is always changing especially in winter now o_O. I spoke with Mrs. Lori about the pain on the pa when I was considering one of her devices and she recommended som tight fitting underwear to keep the weight of the pa, so that may work also but never tried it.

    @ineverknew Thanks
    So what I read from you reply is that if it was a solid tube, sized to my smallest, it probably wound't cause swelling/edema?
    So if it was in something like this beauty: http://www.steelwerksextreme.com/male-chastity-device/princes-collar-chastity-cage

    There's a long way for me to go though - As I would first be going to the doctor to get the frenectomy, and let that heal before getting a PA, and the stretching and so on.

    Just trying to figure out if it would work :)

    i have no idea if that would work or not. though i would say if you want to try it, then go with the mousetrap from malechastitynow.com instead of steelwerks. The price difference is huge! I would also say one of the reasons my foreskin would swell is because i had it pulled out the end slightly with the head of my penis which was more comfortable then having it pulled back. Why are you getting a frenectomy? Seems quite harsh as most of the nerves in the penis are tightly bundled in the frenulum. I would hate to loose any sensation.

    @cphchast Yes, I have Frenotomy done, but now I also have a cut. I do not feel the loss of a lot of sensitivity of the penis head.
