Has anyone gotten a “new” Neosteel recently?

    Hey all! Just curious if anyone on here has ordered, and received a belt from the new website, meaning after Mr. Mendes unfortunate passing. I absolutely love my current My-Steel belt, but would love to have a Neosteel in the toy box too, though I’d like to hear some feedback from recent buyers before I spend that type of money on another full belt.

    You can find another thread on this in the forum - in short, I ordered/paid for a new crotch module and communication is slow, like 3 weeks between messages. But Daniel confirmed the build is underway and to expect it in 7 weeks, crossing my fingers...

    with how well jura's managing his work these days, I wonder if me and/or squirrel will get the cocoon before you receive your neosteel...

    The race is on then! :) I hope both Jura and NS can stay on top of current orders. Uneven/inconsistent communication and progress are 2 of the bigger issues with many CB makers. Might be a common downside of being small operators and/or many more orders than their capacity.

    There's probably one CB maker that I know is highly active, and that's tobbe, but according to this he probably only does it as a hobby and therefore probably explains why he doesnt do men's belts anymore and doesn't seek belt making as a profession

    From my experience, communication with Neosteel is very good now.
    Mr. Waldenmaier replied to all my emails within 2 days at the latest.
    Maybe also because the questions were in German?

    That is a good point Trublue, if translation delays a response, that is a reasonable constraint.

    I inquired via their website about making an order for an accessory for my fun belt and Mr Waldenmaier replied within 2 days. He said the wait time for orders is the same 8 week delay as previous.

    I just made an order for neosteel belt.
    But in the confirmation email there is no payment info for paypal.

    And then there is nothing...

    Anyone alse had problems with that? :p

    That is very strange, please post any additional follow up info on where it goes from here! I really think a spaceless fun belt is my long term solution, I dream of a belt that doesn't need to be removed for any reason whatsoever, lol that may be a pipe dream but that specific design looks like it would be great for permanent wear, minus a cleaning every 7-10 days and releasing whenever my miss allows.
