One of the interesting things we have noticed over the years is that my knees stop hurting when I am locked. Shortly after release (2 or 3 days), my knees begin to hurt again We have swapped out lubes, thinking it was a inflammatory response to silicon .. nope We literally videod during sessions of self enjoyment to see if I was hyper extending my knees... Nope Lock up and two days later, I can easily go up and down stairs We are now wondering if, while sleeping, I do something different when in a cage. Obviously, erections are different... We are going to have me stay locked for October (might as well) to see if this is a short term or long term effect. Kind of surprising we would see this as a side effect
I think you are on to something. Semen retention seems to offer many benefits. I’m convinced all inflammatory markers improve with a chaste spell. Blood pressure, joint pain, gum health, immune system, etc. All better.
Maybe there are more adrenaline, dopamine or other hormones being distributed throughout the day if your keyholder keeps you entertained?
It is difficult to control for all the variables... My gut feeling is you are correct. Causation does not equal correlation. Still, it is difficult to run a double blind test considering the subject is very aware of the various factor If after a month the pain in my knees remains low, we will probably remove the cage and sit through the 2 month plus healing process of a PA. Then, we will repeat the experiment, having removed the effect of the ball retention "stuff"
How long are your locked up periods? Have you extended into months? I wouldn't entirely dismiss the possibility of hormonal effects given the number of behavioral changes people say they experience. It could also be psychosomatic, placebo or just a general pep in your step from being in a better frame of mind. At any rate, it probably has fewer negative side effects than many other treatments!
Well I am constantly locked ( almost) and have a Epicondylitis humeroradialis since weeks. Doesnt work for me. Well I guess it is evolving from an cervical discalhernia, but both has to do with inflammation.
2 weeks is probably max ever so going a month will push the boundaries. Another thought is, what if my walk is different when locked due to the cage and that has the desired positive effect We can test for this by remaining locked 24/7 but leaving the key always accessable and free to use
Kneepain is not just kneepain. You always have a generator. Mostly the meniscusses or an instabililty which originates from malalignement of the meniscusses or a loss of cartilage. Another possibility is the transfer of the pain from the back Lumbalsegment 3 /4 is for the ventral upper leg and knee. A wrong position of the menisci also can occur if your hamstrings are tight an pull the menisci backwards. So you have pain in full extension. Please describe in which position your knees hurt usually.
Something you said about the possibllity of your gait changing when you walk resonated with me. I too have knee issues but haven't experienced any since being in chastity 24x7 since January even after two long ski trips. I hadn't thought about it until now. But it would seem weird if there is a relationship. I'm about to start running again this week in preparation of our annual Drumstick Dash and will be curious how well I handle it while locked. I used to have a problem sleeping in a standard bed. I'm a back sleeper but found myself rolling over on my stomach after falling asleep and that would wake me up because it would impair my breathing and become uncomfortable after a short amount of time. Since we weren't physically intimate and I was out of town on business a lot, I took to sleeping on the sofa while at home because I wouldn't roll over and would get a good night's sleep. But when I started chastity, I noticed I stopped rolling over in my sleep while away on one of my ski trips when I had to sleep in a standard bed. When I came home was when our sex lives were resurrected and I started to sleep in bed again with my wife. I NEVER roll over in my sleep now. I've occasionally fallen asleep with a tablet on my stomach and wake up with it still there. I can only attribute this behavior change to my subconscious telling me not to roll over because I'll hurt my little guy if I do.
While I feel there is some “nutrient” reabsorption going on DIRECTLY related to the chastity/lack of cumming, I also feel that dietary changes may occur. I tend to drink less alcohol when locked, for example. But there is ZERO doubt my body prefers me not to cum.
Stairs are the killer. I can skateboard, onewheel, and walk all day long without issue but stairs both up and down are killers. Walking up or down inclines also don't seem to bother me This help ?
I wouldn’t suggest I understand it entirely, but oxytocin can impact the level of cortisol in the body, which affects the digestive system. So theoretically it could be changing the way your body is absorbing beneficial nutrients. Seems too short a timespan to have an affect though. Oxytocin does have an affect on pain thresholds too. So maybe your just not feeling it as much.
Yes, now that you mention it, I will be seeing if my knee gets any better! Might end up being longer than locktober if it does!
Tease & denial, cuddling, spooning, etc will give you plenty of oxytocin without the explosive pleasure and leave you with lots of energy to run around on that rejuvenated knee!
Your testosterone will peak after 7-10 days of denial too and this promotes muscle growth and repair.
