Recently bought a beginner chastity set (https://sissymarket.com/products/beginner-chastity-cage-sets?_pos=1&_psq=begi&_ss=e&_v=1.0) figuring it's just 15 euro's and if it disappoints, so be it.

It arrived today, and after a little messing around i figured out where everything goes, took a hot bath so my equipment fit through the ring, slide the cage over and.... i can't get the lock thingy to slide in.

i managed to (with a bit of fiddling mind you) fit the key in each ring and the cage separately, but when the cage and ring line up, the lock bit itself wont slide the last half centimetre.

I somehow doubt i can get a refund after having put it on, and frankly i wouldn't want to do so, i'd rather try to get it to fit without breaking anything, my guess is it's a matter of a millimetre or so overlap that doesn't line up so the lock can't slip all the way in, but before i take sandpaper to it, i figured i'd see if anyone used the same model and has some tips.

I got it to fit, was a matter of fiddling with it a little more thoroughly.
I tested the other rings a few times and got the hang of it, properly lonked now.
And i agree it's a cheap thing, but i figured i best try the water before ordering something expensive with all the bells and whistles.

I often find you need to pinch the tip of the cage against the lowest part of base ring to take the pressure off the lock. You need 5 hands when u 1st try and put one on. And if all the parts weren't enough to deal with getting hard and undoing all your efforts due to the excitement of it all

First it's a cheep cage. Nothing wrong with that . I own nothing but Chinese cages. You might need take it off and put back together and adjust with some pliers the lock barrels so it slides into the cage easily . Don't get down over this. It is going to take time to find the right cage for you. I own 5 different types of cages . Ended up taking the parts from two and making the one I wear 24 / 7 . Good luck .

I appreciate the help all the same
I got it on now and am fairly eager for my morning wood, though for now i think i'm not going to sleep with it until i am 101% sure there's no issues with circulation.

The solution did include some adjustment of the cage against the ring, all locked now and it's new and exciting

It does take some practice to get the hang of it. They're fiddly things to begin with. Good luck.

To me, that looks like a HTv2 knockoff... Those sets can be very useful for getting first impressions on sizing etc. however!.
Quite normal for these to need either fiddling to fit lock, or in some cases applying hot water to reshape and get lock installed, then cool down, then you can remove/reinstall lock okay after that.
For what its' worth you can find HTv4 knockoffs easily, a significant upgrade in shape, maybe for next size (down?) test...

I've done my measurements and ordered a Cherry Keeper over the weekend, the same lock type is used so that's settled too.
HTv4 looks pretty good but CK is in a more comfortable price range, but no doubt i'll get more expensive toys down the line ^^'
