Hi guys, Anyone got recent response from steelworxx? I felt in love with there goods but no answers on mails yet. Or would they be soo busy at the moment? Site says they would able to buy again from 4 january
Stick with it. Dietmar makes, in my opinion, the best quality custom devices available. I’ve bought twice from him, and while email communication isn’t always swift, production dates are met as promised.
I was told 12 weeks when I ordered (2 week ago). But they did shut down for orders in December, due to a huge backlog.
I ordered in July and it was delivered at the end of September. Well worth thwart adits the best finished cage I have ever had
I ordered in September and received it before xmas. Mods were completed in January. The queue of orders seems to be long. And there was a two week vacation time for xmas.
i sent a mail to them and asked how much longer and got this respons Hello, sorry fort he delay. It is made and send out within the next two weeks. I will send the tracking number.
Seems to me that he is saying it will be made and sent out within the next two weeks and he will provide a tracking number once sent. I've not ordered recently but back in 2019 and found the communication not that quick but the answers good and the quality of the finished product great. Sounds like a big backlog unfortunately and hopefully he can get on top of it. With the news about Lori etc it does seem a bad time to be buying a new device at the moment .
I’ve bought from Dietmar twice before and have an order with them now. IMO the best quality devices you can get, yes he said the wait time is currently 12 weeks. He’s been responding quickly to emails with questions, yes his English isn’t perfect, but I can’t complain, I don’t speak German. Funny how the English speaking world seems to expect the rest of the world to be competent in our language!
This is an experience which is often made. The person complaining about the English is from Norway. Maybe many people which live in countries who don‘t have English as their mother language learn it today as their first foreign language. But Dietmar may be from a generation whose first foreign language was Latin. But if you look to the place where he lives, I suspect in that case it was Russian. So if two persons communicate in an acquired language it can sometimes come to misunderstandings.
I have purchased from Dietmar once before, and that was also a really long wait. But it was well worth it, the quality is outstanding. That is also why I have ordered again, even though I knew that the waiting time was 12 weeks (only 6 to go ). I have had replies within the next working day for all my email, and I have always been able to understand them. The reply posted in this thread is the first I have not understood from him. Being a non-native english speaker myself, I likely also write some nonsense once in a while
