I recently completed seven weeks locked (mostly 24/7) in a Male Chastity Now Contender with the PA upgrade. My previous experience includes a CB6000S, Holy Trainer, Birdlocked, and several cheap 'off the shelf' metal cages. However, this is far and away my best device. The MCN Contender is a custom metal open cage ball trap device, and can be ordered with or without the PA upgrade. The benefits: - The Contender is unbelievably light for a metal cage - I found virtually no difference in weight with my plastic devices - As it's custom made, it is extremely comfortable. It fitted me perfectly. I was able to sleep all the way through most nights. - Cleaning is so easy in the shower because of the open cage design - With the PA upgrade it is extremely secure - there was no prospect of pulling out - It can be ordered with a secure emergency key, which is a great option as a spare if (like me) you don't live with your KH - MCN's customer service is outstanding (more on this below) The drawbacks: I am being honest when I say I didn't find any major drawbacks. - On the rare occasions I was briefly unlocked the key and security screws needed some patience to align but my KH and I got better at this with practice - The PA upgrade lock rubbed slightly on my balls - but that was eased by using plenty of moisturiser and sometimes I placed a small tissue pad underneath the lock. Wearing close fitting underpants also helped minimise rubbing. - I am uncut and (after about three weeks) I got a tiny amount of swelling in my foreskin near the piercing, but it was not painful and disappeared within 24 hours of being unlocked. The other huge plus for MCN is how responsive the company is. The owner Mark responded to my emails often within a day and once I'd placed my final order, my device was built and shipped within a week. I live in the UK and paid extra for express air freight, and it got from Seattle USA to my home in 48 hours! I feel I wasted so much money over the years on mass produced 'off the shelf' devices, being disappointed time after time with the poor fit and security, it has been great to find a secure device that I could wear 24/7 for such an extended period. I finally started to discover what chastity veterans report about the 'high' of extended periods locked up. Quite simply the Contender is a fantastic cage. As with any custom device it is more expensive, but in my opinion worth every penny/cent. If you are looking for a custom cage, especially if you have a PA, I would highly recommend checking out MCN's website.
Damn that cage looks good on you. Pretty hot actually. You did a great review. I'm in the Glans Armor, basically the same cage as yours without the base ring. I love it too, although I gotta say you fill yours out a lot better than me. I'm a bit jealous lol.
Hi Sipriotes, My Contender's measurements are: Base ring 1 7/8 inch Cage ring gap 3/8 inch Cage ring inner diameter 1 3/8 inch Cage length 2 1/2 inch PA 0 gauge Piercing setback 3/4 inch There is good advice about measuring on the MCN website. I measured myself multiple times over several days, and kept getting very slightly different measurements, so took an average which seems to have worked. I went with the the advice on the MCN website - and that I've seen lots on Chastity Mansion - to go for a slightly small cage length. I am a grower and my flaccid state varies a lot, but it's about perfect and 90% of the time my head is just resting against the tip of the cage. It's a shorter length than any of my other devices but means I don't really get an erection, which has helped with sleeping. Hope that helps.
Thanks! Those are pretty much the exact measurements I'm looking at except I am more like 1.5" or 1.75" long and no PA (yet).
I love my Contender. Mark is fantastic to work with as well, highly recommend his work. I did have my PA attachment removed because it was very uncomfortable when cycling. Since that is my main mode of transportation, it wasn’t going to work out. Otherwise I can’t find anything bad to say about these devices!
Congratulations on your success with MCN's Contender. I've been locked in one since Feb.1 2020 (with a few unlockings for medical purposes), and I agree. It is a lightweight, comfortable and secure device. MCN has great customer serivce. Highly recommended.
Do you think it's worth going with the Contender instead of one of the cheaper options on MCN? The price is almost double. Especially if not going for the PA.
I have had a look on the webside , and you pic too - and the pa looks on website it's sitting low .... What I try to ask about , is how about peeing .... Do the pa hold 'it' so you peeing through the bars without hitting ???
Start with the cheaper ones to get the cage deminsion right then when you have it spot on, get a contender. Mark is super easy to work with on modifications and very quick turnaround.
Unfortunately I can only really comment on the Contender, as I've not tried the other cages. That said, the range of measurement options with the cheaper options does look comprehensive, so if your measurements work and you don't need the PA, I'd imagine many of the benefits I've described in my review could be the same. However, I would recommend discussing with Mark at MCN.
I have to sit down when peeing. In my experience you quickly get used to it, and it's a nice reminder for me of my locked submissive status. If I have to stand to pee whilst locked then if I lean against the wall in front of the toilet and angle my body so the cage is directly over the bowl, I can generally get the stream in the right direction. I've done this a few times with public toilets if the seat looks too dirty to sit down.
