Just Bought A Device

It takes most people weeks to months, and trying several different devices to be able to stay locked 24/7 infinitely. I think most people here will attest to that. It took me 6-12 months before being able to tolerate 24/7 for more than a day or two.

 

It took me a while to get 'comfortable' wearing for 24 h straight. Even then, i never wore it more than half time over a month. But then I went through lock-tober. Now wear one all the time. Ease into it, keeping tabs on any skin issues as you go. Once you feel comfortable (physically and mentally) go for longer periods. Good luck and enjoy.

 

I would wear it all day and make sure you are comfortable with that before wear it at night... You could work your way into wearing it at night by wearing it laying down... to me it is just a different feel laying down with it on.

 

It how you feel, and down to each individual, if it fits well, you may take right to and your off and away, or you might have to keep altering you spacer or ring size to get that ideal fit. Remember it’s a marathon not a sprint.

 

I have purchased three different cages since I have started. Each time it takes getting a little used to.

 

Welcome! I would start by wearing the device for 2 hours a day and then increasing the time each day. Once you are comfortable wearing it all day for a few days, then try overnight. Take a night off and then repeat and use the same criteria, 2 nights, then 3 until you got 24X7 for a week. Take your time, it will be worth it.

Subryman...I don’t pretend to be a pro, as we have only been at this a year...but here are my pointers:

1) Go with stainless rather than plastic or silicone.

2) Buy device that you can get extra rings for. Depending on the shape of the ring, and the manufacturer, they definitely fit differently. I have found that the ergonomic oval ring, made from rounded steel, is the best for me. 2nd best, for me, has been the simple round ring. The wider flat rigs, although well made caused chaffing. The most expensive cage we own, ran about $60. My favorite one cost $23 and I have worn it the better part of a month straight with no issues....other than being incredibly horny and frustrated of course.

3) Don’t be overly concerned with the size of the cage. We have itty bitty ones and large ones. For me, cages on the shorter side are more comfortable under clothing, as your not trying to pack it to one side. Guys with pretty sizable schlongs can fit in some amazingly small cages. The main concerns are the size of the ring and the the gap between the ring and the cage. Too large of a ring, or too wide of a gap, and the “boys” will have a tendency to escape.

4). Set yourself small goals. First week, wear it from the time you get up until it’s time for bed. If you make the whole week with no raw spots or terrible discomfort, then move on to a few days of full time. If your or your KH’s goal is 24/7/365, gradually increase the periods of lockup without breaks.

5) Last but not least, remember why your agreeing to this. For us, it was originally a means to add a D/s dynamic to our marriage. We are not swingers and I’m not a cuckold. What I am, is a committed husband of 30 years, with a gorgeous and empowered wife....and a newly refreshed and very intense love life.

I agree with Doug, stainless steel is the way to go. I tried a silicone knockoff Nub, it was comfortable but not secure. I now am in a stainless steel Nub that is attached to a steel belt that relieves the weight and makes it very secure, I have never been able to get out of it without the key.

 

don't get too hung up on being able to go 24/7. As others have said, it takes a lot of practice and many people don't get there. It doesn't matter. Do what you're happy doing. Good luck
