Has anybody tried switching devices at bedtime in order to more successfully sleep through the night?
During the day my current cage is quite comfortable but it has been giving me some trouble at night. I know that it is something that will become less of a problem as time progresses, but how long does that typically take? I know that it's most likely different for everybody but some idea would be nice. One night I switched to my previous device with the largest ring and that seemed to help. Should I just keep at it with my current device and just remove it when it becomes unbearable? That's what I had been doing. I'm trying to be very careful in regards to incurring any injuries which would keep me out of the cage until they heal. My goal is to eventually be locked 24/7. I know that easing into it is the way to ensure eventual success. I just don't know what is a reasonable time frame.

I think changing cage is cheating, I'm in same boat with over broken sleep. I just think I'll get use to it when it happens no time limit.

    Just my thoughts.

Others be better about changing ring sizes.

I kinda thought it was cheating too. But I rationalized it by telling myself that more time locked being the goal, I was furthering my cause. That being said, I did not switch cages last night. Just dealt with it and it wasn't too too bad.

I've gone for a pee, kinda helped. I've also gotten up and done squats to encourage the blood to flow to other muscle groups. The problem for me is that I have ADHD so if I reach a certain level of wakefulness falling back to sleep does not come easy.

I know some here do switch cages, including at night. don't see how that is 'cheating' at all. One wears a very small, but comfortable, cage during the day. Then sleeps in a less constricting one at night. Both are chastity cages. There are no explicit rules for what constitutes chastity play, so even staying chaste without a cage counts, if it works for you. Just find the best approach for you and don't worry about it.

I'm not worried about it too much. It's all in service of the desired goal. But I'd like to be able to wear my new cage for long term. And if I'm switching out to sleep I'm not getting used to sleeping in said cage. I'm sure I'll find my way, just curious what others experiences were.

Why is changing device cheating? It depends on your own definition, rules, priorities or agreement with your KH or yourself! Sleep is also important and healthy. It all depends on your personal life and experience. If sleep is important why not change? It is a practical solution. Or sleeping without if you do not have the urge to orgasm or play. But that also depends on your own definition and desires. So, choose what fits you, or your KH. It can develop over time. Just take it slowly. The only reasonable time frame is yours. Time will tell!

Mostly cheating myself of getting used to the new device. But like I said the end goal is more important IMO.

Nothing wrong to take time to get used to a new device. Maybe first during the weekend(s). Or the even days or... So many possibilities. Good luck and enjoy!

Everyone's situation is different. You need to do what is best for yourself and the other's participating in this. I personally don't wear one while I sleep, but my wife is right there. I also don't wear mine to work either...

There is no right or wrong way to do things as long as everyone involved is honest and aware of what is going on.

good advice, for me though if you goal is to be caged 24/7, your best to try and ride it out and get used to your device, will be easier in the long run, just takes a while for the body to adapt. I’m Sure you will get it sorted.

I must admit I only sleep in mine on rare occasions/ punishment. I find I can’t sleep if I wear one and sleep is one of the most important things in life (certainly for me it is :0)

Try to observe what triggers the feeling too tight or acceptable.
It took me 2 weeks to switch from a 44mm A-Ring with a 40mm cage and 60mm length to a 42mm A-Ring with 38mm cage but 75mm length and now its perfect.
It is always a trial and error.

Sleep is really important. If needed go to bed a little bit earlier. Then if you get a full sleep your only problem is you'll be wide awake a little bit too early.
