I swear... I do the dumbest things on screen share. Anyway, I am a leader on a team of folks in IT, and was doing a demo with some of them in a call today sharing my screen. I had a file upload at one point - and it never even crossed my mind that the last files I uploaded somewhere were these pics: https://www.chastitymansion.com/forums/index.php?threads/neosteel-arrival.38146/#post-404669

... last night. So, sure enough - guess which window chrome so "helpfully" remembers? YUP. Thumbnails in full view! To make it worse, I clicked a random folder in quick links as fast as I could.... and it was THE SAME FOLDER. So between the 5 others on the call, I would be naive to think nobody caught it.

Oh well. My team is too nice to say anything. I also accidentally left a tab open once at the top of the browser that said 'female chastity".

Sometimes this work from home business is risky. :)

Use a private or incognito window. It will forget all history when closed.

There's another element when working from home. Now Zoom and the like are becoming so common... have a look behind you for any incriminating devices or materials left lying around.

I have a dedicated work laptop that has absolutely nothing on it other than work. I use it assuming the company has installed everything from website tracker to keystroke loggers. They don’t, but if I assume they do it enforces discipline. I also physically block the camera so I know I have control over it - which is really important since I often work as Barbara.

I realize that for many people having ONE laptop is a luxury, let alone a second. But if you are working, purchasing a second device for job security is an investment that may save your job some day. Maybe a second, cheap chrome book becomes your tool browsing NSFW content. A second electronic device is not nearly as fun as a second cage or new pair of heels I know, but probably a better use of money in the long run.

One thing I try to do with folders of pictures on my PC is to select List or Details view in Explorer when I am finished, so if they ever are seen later you just see a list of files instead of icons. I think it has saved me a couple of times...

Virtual machines are good too. Cheaper than a laptop and easy to deal with if they get infected or otherwise problematic.

For the work I do, it's much much easier to use my normal PC - not company owned, so there's no worry about background software. BUT lesson learned (again). Knowing me, I doubt anyone would be surprised anyway - but definitely would prefer not to have done that :)

I use a separate log in on my computer for all 'kink' stuff to that used for normal day to day stuff. I also use a VPN. Then I have a separate work supplied machine that is used solely for work.

    I like to play safe...

Even better than a private/incognito window, use a different browser.
If you use Chrome or Firefox for work, then use the other one for 'play'.

You can then have separate bookmarks, logins, cache, cookies, with absolutely no possibility of exposing the other stuff. It works both ways, if you get a rogue script on your 'play' browser then there's also less risk of compromising any work accounts/information. It also means if you sync your browser between computers, then you can choose separately which computers/phones you sync the work stuff or the play stuff with.

Work and private IT are completely separate for me! I never link any personal accounts to my work devices! It does mean I have to use 2 phones at work but that's fine by me!

Who cares? Your personal business is yours alone and as long as your performance is adequate, your teammates shouldn't have a problem.

You should also watch out if your use Micro$oft Word or Excel. When you open a document from Explorer it will display any open documents, even it they were minimized, before opening the new document.

Best thing is to keep kink and business on separate machines as others have said.

It's just not polite to expose others to your kinks or lifestyle. And in the work environment is very unprofessional really. It doesn't matter what you do in your private life but that's where it should stay. It's also nice to have that secret that's shared only with your special partner! Or your massive bunch of like minded kinksters! :)

Ir's not polite to rub it in. As far as I can tell, it happened by accident.

But, on a larger scale, if we expand along your lines of thinking, we might as well call pride parades not polite - they expose private sexual preferences on a massive scale, and also make street parking impossible for entire neighborhoods.

My thoughts are the same. However is it because chastity and BDSM are less of a minority, therefore they're acceptable.

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind anyone's choice of sexuality or not. I object to it being in my face

Jfc can we not equate sexual minorities to our kinks? Last I checked nobody gets killed for a little chastity play with their wife

Agreed, but why should you submit others to something they would rather not see?

You didn't check hard enough. You can get beaten to a pulp for being a fetishist in certain regions of the EU, let alone Islamic or African societies.
Also, aren't all kinksters minorities in our own way?

I also believe in NOT forcing anyone, but on the other hand, if we're guided exclusively by the fear of not offending someone, that will basically kill the freedom of speech and expression.
