I agree but excessive weight can become problematic. That's why I like the MCN Contender.

I like how lightweight plastic is. In my experience the metal ones can just fall off of me. Like the idea though

I found the plastic ones to be too bulky and difficult to keep clean. Metal is secure, metal is almost self lubricating, metal means no escape. Must be metal.

    Guess how I voted?

I have a mature metal Jailbird and it is good but heavy. As a runner it needed special support. I travel for work and metal detectors caused a major problem. My Holy Trainer is extremely light and goes right through metal detectors. No issues keeping it clean and rarely even know it is on even when running.

Never tried plastic and drawn to metal because it seems more secure and a real commitment. Wish i was brave enough to get a PA for ultimate security.

I tried plastic but it was too flexible to be secure and too difficult to keep clean and smell free. Also being able to TIG weld stainless, to near enough make my own, it had to be stainless!

I’ll post how the Tether Spout goes :+1:

At first I like plastic, or actually I mean the Bio-resin. I believed it to be very comfortable, and convenient for what I needed to do. I then realized that there are not enough air holes and it was too tight to be able to air out and properly dry. I had thoughts of having trench foot on my cock. That did not sound desirable. I then explored several metal designs and found them to be more comfortable and meeting all the criteria that I had, plus there was enough weight to it that I always knew it was on.

Let me add another aspect of plastic that I learned to hate.
They usually have two halfes glued together. But those stitches (is that the right word) tend to brake apart. That often leads to some skin getting between the two halfes, wich really does hurt.

First I went with basic plastic, like CB range.
It is closed of, no aeration, no hygiene, and a bit irritant. Bon4, bad too... HT a little better, but hygiene is still bad for 24/7 :(

Then I got a mature metal: much more skin friendly, open enough for great cleaning, and also prettier. Really good!

But the weight all the time was bothering me, so I looked more, and found Ms Fox Ghost device...
Their plastic never irritate my skin, the open designs help for great cleaning (which make it superior to HT) also different sizes, and it is possible to make a custom size. And it’s light!

i still love my Mature metal and use it here and there, but the ghost is my favorite :D

From a woman's perspective plastic is not nice for hygiene reasons. Metal is sexy in a medieval kind of way. Much more visually stimulating!! I think the weight is important so as to help you remember I am always with you.

Plastic is for newbies . I/we have the CB3000, 6000, and Curve, and they've all been sitting on the shelf gathering dust over the past few years. Metal is so much more permanent and reminding of one's submissive place.

You can look at pictures of it on my profile. The latest pink device. Back then, I was trying to replace my HT v2 that was too small. The goal was to find a plastic device with bigger size, an open design for cleaning, and a material that wasn’t irritating (I am uncircumcised, so skin irritations can come easily from moisture, bad plastic etc)

The ghost delivered on all fronts.
Although it was a while ago, I remember the service being also great!

What everyone said about plastic. One thing the plastic did that the metal does not do as much, it would hold the heat more and being more enclosed it gave me the feeling like I was inside Mistress but unable to do anything about it leaving me more horny

    Hello Holders/ Locke's,

I prefer metal, but with work most likely going to go back to metal detectors soon, I can't were my favorite metal cage any more soon.
I need to find a plastic cage to wear so work don't know. I can use the Cb6000, but in a modified version of it but at that point it's to long, I had the locked in lust but I slip out of it easily.
I'm a grower and a turtle so if anyone has any suggestions please let me know.
    P.s don't have 3D printer.
    thank you.

P.p.s might have to make out of wood? Maybe.

    What about aluminium or titanium?
Is possible to have a cage like contrnder by MCM in these materials?
I think a Lot of us should go that way, I’d love to have a really light metal cage, don’t u?

It would be nice yes but I like the heaviness to metal one but need to go through metal detectors all day at work when they restablished security protocols like those. What is MCM if I may ask @Tasslave ?

The Malechastitynow Contender cage design is ~60% the weight of a similarly sized Jailbird due to narrower round bar stock. It makes a big difference.

He uses 316L steel and I’ve gone through a metal detector. Mind you, my cage is rather short... so your mileage may vary. ;)
