Question.....I've been a self locker for years being locked for months at a time. Recently I was diganosed with prostate cancer and had surgery. It was successful but there are major changes. First, I cannot get an erection, Second, I cannot ejaculate and Third, my penis is about 1 1/2 shorter because of the nature of the surgery. But I'm still horney and my body is very sensitive. So, do I relock myself and if I do, it will be very long term or do nothing since the main objectives of a chastity device have been accomplished because of the surgery. Would like to hear your opinion.

Having just had prostate surgery myself, but no where near as invasive as yours, I would be very cautious until the wounds and bruising have completely healed or you may do further damage to your body.

I am a little unsure why you would want to lock given your lack of libido unless it is for show only?

Been 5 1/2 months since the surgery and have been given a clean bill of health by my doctor. You are right about being careful.
Strange as it seems, I like being locked. I like the feeling of being enclosed and not being able to touch myself (my penis is still very sensitive).
Still at odds as to what I want to do, but thanks for your comments.

Good advice from @Charles3451 I think. What you want to do and what is the right and sensible thing seem to be two very different things ;)

Good luck for a speedy recovery to both of you :)

Just because you can’t erect or ejaculate, you still have testosterone. Are you sure you can’t have a soft non-erect Orgasm?

I have caused a soft cocked man to have a string of orgasms by non stop sucking his cock and stimulating the underside of his penis with my tongue

There is hope then. Now all I need is to find someone like you! Right now I feel like both my cock and balls are useless.

As I've commented elsewhere, the feeling of being locked can be very comforting. And it can be considered as body jewelry. If it's been nearly six months and your doctor has given you a clean bill of health, why not? If you were playing sports, would you be asking this about wearing a jockstrap?

You could ask your doctor about engaging in some form of sexual activity without going into specifics. Explain that you can't orgasm (and he'll know you can't produce much or any semen without a prostate), but you'd like to know if it's safe to indulge in some form of physical stimulation. If he assumes masturbation or oral sex, that's up to him. If you're good to go with either of those, then wearing a device shouldn't be a problem.

Moe5. First of all, let me congratulate you for your success with your prostate cancer treatment. Its a battle, I have several friends that have dealt with it, as well as a sibling. The stats are staggering. The USA numbers for chance of prostate cancer are higher than for a woman to get breast cancer. I have a sibling with that as well, and that combination puts me at a higher than average risk. I was also as caregiver to my wife who is a BC survivor. Like you, I am self locked. I did it for her to let her body be at peace for her several chronic health issues. I absolutely love being locked(14 months now). It it a far stronger desire than O, there is no comparison, not even close. So I am so pleased with where I am. I have thought about genetic testing, to evaluate my risk, I have thought of elective surgery but they don't really want to do that. I understand that you love being locked. So I say, especially considering what you have been thru, do what makes you feel happy. I know that no matter what happens to me, my cage will always be there, even if it is just in principle. Being locked just feels so right, I don't even need a reason to validate why I wear it, other than I want to. It just feels so awesome. Its my reward. So if its your reward, lock on bro!

I had major Cancer surgery 6 months ago, they removed Bladder, Prostrate, Nerves , lymph nodes... and I could not wait to get back into my Pet Trap... even as just a way to feel "normal" again... time will tell how far my recovery goes, but I'm happy to have something to remind me of better days. Happy to say "Cancer Free".

Glad you are doing great. Will keep you in my prayers. We should form a CM Club of all the guys in our situation.
Stay Strong and PM if you want to talk.

Watch your PSA results very closely. There is a new blood test that will tell you the chance that you have prostate cancer (I think it is called 3K or something like that). After doing that test I had a biopsy to confirm. The whole process took just weeks.
    Stay Strong.

Congrats on the surgery going well! In terms of reducing sensitivity, I have had great luck with the standard, short metal, Chinese cage with built in lock. I find now that I'm too sensitive when unlocked, largely because of the design of the cage, and that I "tuck" the head and shaft down into my body somewhat, and create a foreskin that I place in the cage portion. This keeps the sensitive head skin from poking through, and being stimulated, and avoids loose skin around the base, that can get pinched. If you've lost some length, this might make it easier to wear it conventionally, and line up the urethra with the holes. Peeing has been the one drawback for me, but I got used to removing the cage to pee, and locking it right back up. They also come with urethral tubes, either metal or clear tube, but I've not been comfortable with them myself. Anyhow, we love the short cage design here in our house, as it pushes everything up and inside, avoids stimulation better than any cage Ive worn. Works well with me being a stomach sleeper, and is invisible under jeans.

Thanks for your kind words and I will take a look at that device. My next checkup is April and if all is still good, I'll removed.
